Yes the tall building is definately the apartments above Cafe del Mar.
Hope it keeps this view on for the full day,it will be good to see it this evening. I can sense the atmosphere already!

I stand corrected on the google earth thing.
I installed Google Earth about 2 month ago and my first place to look was San Antonio Bay (after my own house of course!)
Could not got close to San An without an unfocused picture at a hundred miles up! Could zoom in on the airport though!
So didnt try it again.
Just looked now and Just found the Aparthotel Rosamar where I have stayed for the last 3 years!
Even more holiday blues heading my way as not off back till next year!

Could not got close to San An without an unfocused picture at a hundred miles up! Could zoom in on the airport though!

My wife and I are going out to San An May 26th for 5 nights for the first time.
We're 32 & 30 and still like lively days / nights out - Can anyone recommend good bars for the day & night??
I've been told Cafe Mambo has a sunset party every night - will this be on Late May?

Your right about cafe mambo, it opens on thursday 25th may for its first big night with lots of big name dj's (and I will be there!!!!), all of the bars on the sunset strip are open either now by by the time you go, that includes savanha, cafe del mar, sunsea, coastline,
Other good bars are Bar M and Itac which are down on the promenada next to a place called the orange corner, across the road from the slingshot. In my opinion these are all the best places to visit in san antonio, the west end is okay but just like any city centre on a weekend, try and get to a place called Kumharas for sunsets, down in the bay and like a hippy chill place.

Its a still satelite aerial view of the earth.
The pics could be up to 3 years old in places(I am guessing at this as it shows diggers in my kids school playground where they have now got a sports hall. The diggers where there 3 summers ago!)

all of the links that i provided are very child friendly, we have an 11 year old and fifteen year old and we have been taking them to these places for the last three to four years, they are open air bars for want of a better word, where they play chill out music till the sun sets, followed by beach entertainment such as fire eaters and jugglers. they are all on the beach overlooking the sea tables and chairs on open terraces etc.
Its not just tourists who go to these places to drink etc but thousands of locals flock to the beach around these places just to watch the sun set, all ages too, they bring there own drinks sometimes and food, once you try it you will bitten by the bug.

perhaps we should have girlies in the day time and sunsets in the evening! 
totally agree with that, makes the working day go much quicker, just waiting for them to get their kit off at the moment, wonder if they will oblige??
