that is one of my main ambitions when the kids are off hand is to settle somewhere nice, sunny and warm near the beach so the kids can come with grandkids etc.

hi jim, i wondered if it was building works or whether you had a problem with moles! . are these new builds going to affect your views at all?
i know we all get excited about high temperatures on this forum but as you'll remember we're pretty deprived of the sun in this country as we evolve in time babies will be born with umbrella's growing out of their heads! lol. we know we should not go out in the midday sun the same as we shouldn't exceed our weekly units of alcohol...... cheers!

Morning first the name of that developer is Ioli Bros and also another developer, they will mostly be apartments and town houses, the odd villa, fairly normal now for a mixture of types, will it affect my view yes of course, am I bothered not at all, I would sooner it stayed the way it was but what the heck why should others not enjoy the same..
I live in that bungalow and because of this we do have a low line of site, so this was always a possibility, but I can get to those mountains (Tsada) in minutes so its not a problem, we have a nice pool at the back we can always sit there, although we don't use it very often, prefer the sea myself, this is a ten minute drive away, Vardas beach being the closest that just happens to be my favourite.

This thread is about the weather and we sure get our share here, but Cyprus is not all about beaches, in fact I find laying all day on a beach pretty boring, I also dislike sand, so I mainly just walk along them and dive in for a swim, far more to see on the island than beaches, take time to have a good look...above all have a great time..today is slightly overcast 6am but feels warm again 75f, (see my webcam)...it takes a shot every hour...

72- 74? oh no I was hoping its going to be red hot next week! We fly out next Wednesday to Paphos and as my daughter is recovering from surgery and chemo, all we want to do is lay in the sun.. will we need our cardi's?

To be honest though, I usually find it feels a lot warmer on holiday than the weather sites tell us. I'm sure they tell you what the temp is in the shade!

So what can we expect from next week until the 31st May, will we be able to laze about cooking ourselves?
