Just booked for 2007!

After spending hours looking through the brochures for next year, tonight I finally booked next years holiday!

Tried to book online with Portland but it kept telling me I hadn't put some information in that I had! Anyway, phoned them up and they still gave me the online discount I would have got, plus I got two free child places. The woman I dealt with on the phone was great, booked it so quick and even requested the rooms to be next to each other without me having to ask! Thank you Portland! So we're off to the Esperides Beach Hotel 30th May 2007. Just a year to wait!

Anyone else all booked up for next year? Not going anywhere this year so it gives me something to look forward to.

Thats great news Marie, I'm sure you will have a brilliant time the hotel looks nice and has very good reviews, its often a gold medal winner in the brochure, based on customer feedback.

Its one (of quite a few :shock:

) I have looked at for next summer. Went to Rhodes 18 years ago and would now like to go back with my children.

New to Rhodes

Just booked myself for May 2007, usually go to Benidorm twice a year but finally decided to give up one and try a change. Staying in a place called Lardos for 2 weeks. Done a little research but if anyone would like to give me a few tips on what it's like it would be greatly appreciated!!

just booked Suite at Atlantica princess Ixia 1 aug 2007 going AI for first time....

Lardos is lovely if u like a quiet holiday as it still feels very much a greek village. A handful of bars/restaurants, a couple of tourist shops and thats it. There's a gorgeous beach just a little south of the resort and Lindos is just a short taxi ride away.

Atlantica Princess is excellent, my parents stayed there when i was living on the island. I think the suites have a sea and pool view as i remember.

Plenty of restaurants, bars, etc nearby but i guess you won't be needing them on all inclusive. Rhodes Town is only a short bus or taxi ride away so a great base for exploring.

Marcus many thanks for the reply, quiet is fine as we want a change from the hetic pace of Benidorm!!, plus we have decided this will become our honeymoon as we have booked to get married the day before :shock:

Make sure the hotel knows that it is your honeymoon, as the staff there are so helpful I'm sure they will find a few extras for you :love
