The Elysium is one of the top resort hotels on Cyprus, only let down by it's position and location, it is not in the Anassa class because of this, you will find there top service , great food, and wonderful accommodation, close to town (Kato Pafos) with all it's ''charms'' but for that top of the class stay on CY it has to be Polis and the Anassa...if cost is not an option.

Anassa would have been great, but a little out of reach financially!. I have got as far as the front entrance to the Elysium before, but felt I wasn't smartly enough dressed to venture inside. I always said I would like to go back and stay there, and so have managed to arrange a kids free holiday there - couldn't have afforded all 4 of us I fear!

Its location is the definite negative, but only a slight one for me - it's not too far away from everything, and I'm hoping the quality will make up for this.

Try the Four Seasons in Limassol - super luxury!

Definitely the four seasons - not to be missed - we got married there last year and stayed at the four seasons absolutely fab hotel out of this world - would definietly recommend it -

Without the doubt the best 5 star hotel is the Columbia Beach Resort in Pissouri. I would say it's higher than 5 star, it's deluxe. It's in the beautiful location of Pissouri which is off the beaten track and very quiet.
