Hi Fred's son, my husband and many other men in the restaurant wore 3/4 length trousers for dinner. I think there was two nights he wore smart shorts with a shirt too.

Just a quickie - I noticed that someone said previously that the hairdryers aren't up to much. I've got quite long hair which takes a while to dry. Am I better off taking my own or is the hotel one sufficient.
Thanks for all the help from everyone that's been to PP. The little tips and helpful hints ensure the rest of us have a great time.

I see that the all inclusive bar is open until 12 midnight. Can you tell me if they offer the choice of a "pay bar" once the free drinks finish? If so what are the prices like. I understand that you have to pay for bottled water in the hotel, is this expensive?
munskinn - I would say take your own cause i ended up getting the hump with the one there. Although its so warm i ended up washing mine and keeping it tied up off my neck!
lppwrth - the all inclusive is open till 0100 im sure. then from 0100 till 0300 and its pay bar - whether its cash or Tom Watch payment im not sure as thanks to my kids i was always well tucked up by that time! The hotel does have an over 18's disco every night too which has same drinking rules.
Hope this helps!

Thanks Loogie,
The local village of Sarigerme does have a few bars/restaurants and 2 clubs. I wouldnt advise walking to these as its a pretty unestablished road with very little pedestrian sections and the taxi's only cost 7Lira. Again I didnt use any of these and Im beginning to sound like the worlds most boring person!
Hopefully someone else can fill you in abit more - if not the best people to ask would be the local reps as they all live in the village and i laughed at a few of them on the occasional morning after!

Do you happen to know about the water situation? Do they wash the salad with bottled or tap water? And also are the ice cubes made from bottled or tap water?
Thanks
Think I'll pack a travel hairdryer just in case - though I'll probably do what you did and put it up as it's too hot to have down!!

Our family was fine and didn't hear of anyone with upset stomach so seems to be ok
The beds in family rooms are massive we could get 3 pillows along ours
Someone said in earlier posts that the Tang drink they give the kids was made using tap water! It is probably best to avoid this drink anyway unless you want to be bouncing of the walls
gOING TO pEGASUS pALACE IN aUG. CAN ANYONE TELL US IF THERE ARE TEA AND COFFEE MAKING FACILITIES IN THE FAMILY ROOMS.
GREAT COMMENTS...CAN'T WAIT TILL AUGUST!!
pEEK FAMILY
*Edit please do not post in caps Briar
There was no tea and coffee bits in our family room but it said you could hire a kettle at £2 a day so best to bring your own travel kettle
Thanks for your help.
We were due to go to the Kos Aqua Beach club in July but First Choice can not give us a definite yes that it will be open they have just said that it is on schedule to open on the 1st July and after seeing photos last week on the Greece post it still looks like a building site! so we have cancelled wanted to book the Pegasos Palace but fully booked so we have booked the Pegasos Tropical (sister hotel) is anyone going there 19th July and is it a good idea to have the hep A injection that is recommended.
There is so much to read on this site so can someone please update me on what the hotel is like and any good excursions to look out for?
There are a few ex KABC travellers here - us included!
We were due to travel 21 June but were cancelled and now go on 26 June to PP.
The injections are covered on another discussion forum but it is down to choice at the end of the day. They are recommended and some have them and some don't. My wife and kids have had them and I haven't as I am a wimp and don't like needles!
There is also a discussion forum on Sarigerme and there are lots of trips available from Mustafa at Sarigerme Tours and all have received positive feedback from those that have been.
The tropical is shut at the moment and doesn't open until around 15 July - there are lots of photos on the photo gallery and the hotels look great - and is at least built which is more than can be said for KABC!
Do you know why the tropical doesn't open until the 15th July?
Really could do without another KABC.
Not long for your family to go then, let us know what it was like when you get back.
