I'd been to Divar Island a couple of years back..its an island on the Mandovi River near Old Goa..you need to take the Panjim-Ponda road and cross the river to Divar at the ferry at Old Goa
It's a pretty Portugese-Goan hillside village with no signs of tourist development at all. There's a church at the top of the island with stunning views. Well worth a half day trip.

Thanks for reply, how did you travel around the island, someone said that it's only cycles and scooters.
