If you're not going to get a direct flight to Goa, you will be able to get an internal flight from Mumbai to Goa at a reasonable price. Try looking up Kingfisher airlines on the web.

Mapusa market friday morning as has already been said is great fun (there's also a balcony bar overlooking the market called the Pub which is a great place to enjoy a cold drink whilst topping up the suntan lotion and watching the great street scenes below) Margao is also a great market town to explore.

Hi everyone i love a market, but didn't get to go to one as my little boy gets travel sickness especially in those fast taxi's, i can leave him with hubby next time and go on my own, as he hates markets what's the best one, i don't want to go to one if there are any live animals for sale, or fish markets, just the normal clothes, bags, tat etc, girls you know what i mean let me know, as i'm already making my list of Things To Do
