Sorry abi wasnt doubting you, found it but couldnt play it!
Are the FC reps still taking towels off beds if they are on there before 9am? Someone posted that a while ago.
Thanks
The kids reps were fab last year they are all qualified and do a great job keeping the kids happy. the problem we had was getting the kids into some of nightime activities, queues tended to be long and started wellbefore the activities began.
Meal were fine nothing to rave about and after a while they do tend to repeat themselves, but your going to get that at any hotel
Anyone going should try out the jeep safari it was really good fun, we had a great laugh that day play water fights between the jeeps
hope you all have a grand time

Does anyone know if there is a shop on site or off that we could buy nibbles from? just in case the food is not up to scratch. my family and i are big eaters. i also cannot watch the two videos.
The video does take a little time to download, even on 4mb broadband and you will also need quicktime to view it. Hope this helps.
dsj -yes towel boy was taking towels off beds before 9am, which personally I think is a good idea because some people put them on at 7am then didnt turn up until lunchtime and I spotted one family who everyday but 5 towels on beds in the sun and 5 towels on beds in the shade while us (family of 4) shared 2 beds, this woman also had matresses on all 10 beds I was totally shocked at how she could do this!
I think if you reserve the beds then at least one person should stay with them until 9am!
I totally agree with you, I don't think that you shoould be able to reserve the beds unless you are actually ready to use them.
I am glad that they do stop it ggoing on, but how then do people manage to take matresses and sun brollies away with them?
SamanthaJ, sorry didn't mean to sound like that, i had trouble playing it to - lol!! 2 weeks to go yay!! I see a lot of you are going round about same time as us 20/07, so maybe see some of you there, but guess it is a pretty big place!!
Yes they are still taking towels off loungers before 9am.
There are a few shops you can buy nibbles from which i did a couple of times as i needed a chocolate fix! They are quite pricy though (50p for a chocolate bar).
The only time i found the queues bad was at lunchtimes when LOTS of people are queueing for pizza and chips. There was never any queues at breakfast and dinner but i'd advise to go to dinner early because there is never much left later on - either that or the food goes cold! The bar staff weren't very good in my opinion. There was never too many people at the bar but they never seem to know who had been waiting there the longest and usually ended up serving the person who'd been waiting their the least amount of time.
I think i've answered everyones questions - let me know if there are any more.
thats me decided then.. i'm taking my own parasol, anyone living near a cosco... they are selling really good ones for £11 that have there own hammer action that hammers it into grass( if you understand what i mean) and is 125 protection against the sun, it comes in its own bag so i'm just going to stick a label on it
I think i will take my own parasol too!!! any other tips from anyone who has been there recently for things to take
I would suggest a blow up sun bed to put on a lounger 'if we get one in the morning rush' or you can use it on the grass. Problem solved who needs a mattress. And its universal it goes in pool as well what more does a girl need!!
I am going to get some lilos this weekend i cant be bothered to spend my hols worrying about getting matresses so if i take lilos problme solved!!!
Anyone whos been do they have signs above the food so you know what it is? I hate pork in any shape or form but sometimes say in sweet n sour it can look like chicken so i wouldnt know til i ate it so just wondered if they put signs up so you know what you are eating......i eat anything else just not pork.
Oh i just realized maybe this is a dumb questions as they dont eat pork anyway do they so probably dont serve it.....suits me!!!! im not fussy atall about anything else.
Vicky
Vicky - yes they do have signs next to what each dish is! I would have had big problems if they didn't as i'm a very fussy eater!
I have a very fussy eaight year old, do they have chips in the main restaurant?
There is a kids corner in the indoor restaurant that has nuggets, pizza, mash, pasta etc. Sometimes i ate from the kids bit if i was feeling fussy!
Wot sort of food do they put on for breakfast? i will probably need to go to shop aswell for a chocolate fix and crisps.
For breakfast they had about 4 / 5 different cereals, lovely little pancakes, fruit, bread (they have a toaster thing), croissants, and all the contents of a fried breakfast. I tried the fried breakfast the first morning i was there but the beans were rock hard i was put off and stuck to cereal and pancakes!
thanks bec that has put my mind at rest, she is a
