:roll:Sue you said you enjoyed every minute of the 20 years you had holidaying with your children, what a wonderful mother you must be, if your children never stepped out of line, as for children being unruly i'm afraid i've seen more unruly adults on holiday than i have seen unruly children. As much as you have the choice to go on holiday out of school time, you also have the choice to get up and leave if children are annoying you.

madasafishy how can we imagine life without children? take them they.ll love it ..ive never took mine yet as shes been at a crucial time for exams this year and next when we go again,i cant wait to take my fashion concoius miss sixty/diesel daughter ,what a eye opener she will have ..we go to turkey for 3 weeks in summer holidays take her and her friend, yes she loves this ,but i know by experience she will love goa too,she likes history ,ruins and culture ,mine are all grown too, but hey im not going to turn into a grumpy person when im 50,i run a local brownie group and will do so till im 65,i cant imagine life without a youngster keeping me up to date with chart hits ,, fashion ..and such ..keeps me young at heart, let them enjoy there childhood even if it means been in a hotel with older couples, unruly kids is sometimes just high spirits,,and not all parents are to blame.mine can be a little sod at times too.i just ignore and get on with my holiday no use stressing let their parents do that for you. in goa in march there were a family with children in our hotel but they had to have 2 rooms ,its an experience they will never forget, plus every were you look theres local children you cant avoid them

Not quite perfect Crystal, but perfect enough that people didnt have to get up and move away from them. I think you and I will just have to disagree on this one, but I think we both agree that Goa is a lovely place to take children. As I said before I just wouldnt take them at a very young age but again that is just my opinion.

hahaha well I certainly raised some heckles there didnt I. Honestly I love kids (couldnt eat a full one though) got a daughter of 21 all i was really saying was personally i wouldnt take a young child there (under 5) especially in March when it can be quite humid and uncomfortable sometimes. Just hope they don't open a water or adventure park though cos that will be the end of the Goa we all love. There again were thinking of trying Thailand next December for our 25th Wedding Anniversary. Its suppose to be brilliant there. Anyone got any suggestions?
