As Phil was a VERY good friend of mine and my late husband's I feel offended that everyone seems to think I have a "hidden agenda". My step children are my so called "hidden agenda" for being there. Living and working as I do in Benidorm I feel I have the right to defend whoever I choose to and to drink wherever I choose. I was unaware that I was being monitored as I sit minding my own business. Any connections I have with any acts or clowns in this town are totally unrelated to any opinions I may have or express. I would defend anyone who I feel is being unfairly compared to any act, be it comedians, magicians, singers etc.

However as I am now the villain of the piece, I shall go away and continue watching my step children enjoying the entertainment provided by whoever happens to be throwing sweeties around, be it Capt Britain, Louie The Clown, or Buster The Clown.

Burnette, I felt from your replies that you were in fact Captain Britain in disguise as you are very vocal in your opinions of him, and not giving members chance to voice their opinions on Phil after his sad death.

Most members were just saying that Pancho's wouldn't be the same without him and I still stick to that.

As I mentioned before, this topic was started in memory of Phil.

It is unfortunate that it has moved on to discussion about Burnette and Captain Britain, but perhaps it is a sign that after almost 6 months, members have now shared all their memories and stories about Phil.

It is therefore probably best to close the thread now at this point.
