Obviously having a blonde moment, sorry, I did actually e-mail the correct address and typically after posting, received an e-mail back from them direct, unfortunaltely Veligandu and Lily Beach have both come back to me saying they will not take a booking direct and advising I have to go through an agent!!

I wonder if you can advise on Lily Beach as you have stayed there, I am slightly concerned that the bungalows are semi detatched?? Did you have any noise from your neighbours and do you have any privacy on your terrace?

I did know that Lily Beach doesn't accept independant bookings as they sell all their rooms to agents. They will only accept independant bookings 4 weeks before you want to arrive if the agents haven't sold all the allocations.

The bungalows were fairly quiet in our opinion (lets face it, no-one goes to the Maldives to be noisy) the only time we heard our neighbours in May was when there 2 yr old started bawling at 8am!

The patios aren't what I would call private - you can't see the people who are your imediate neighbours but you wil be seen from the next semi detached pair of bungalows along. Again though we didn't use ours much - just for 30 mins or so occasionally when we used to sit and chat with a nightcap after the bar closed in the evening.
