mary,
the towels they give you for the cards are pool/beach towels, you can have one per card and at the end of the day take them back to the hut and they give you your card back and clean them ready for the next day, i would suggest you take at least one towel each just in case the hut runs out.
in your room you get one hand towel and one bath towel each (well your supposed to anyway) we never did but there was 6 of us (no excuse i know and told them that too!)

Hi All

Im just back from 2 fantastic weeks at PP this morning :( to be back!!!

We loved it.
There is a large screen for footie in the pool bar....we watched england the other night.
The baby was fantstic on holiday i had no problems with food or anything for him and he was fine in the heat even though it was 116 degrees on tues and weds it didnt bother him...they are starting a heat wave its going to be getting up to 122degrees.
I will read through some posts ive missed if i get chance and i will post a full review in a few days when ive done my washing.
Any questions please ask and i will try and help.

Mcfester hows the little one?
Pm me if you want to know anything specific.

I have just read through a couple of pages and will try and answer a couple of questions.

There is entertainment in the pool bar with tables and chairs we sat there most nights things like singers, quizes etc.
Also there are no tables and chairs on the balcony above the amphitheatre but we carried some up and sat up there quite a few times, carried the pram up no problem....we started a trend!!! We didnt like sitting in the actual amphitheatre.

We got a taxi to sarigerme to see Mustafa and booked the 12islands boat trip it was a brill day out we all including the 5kids enjoyed it (i will put a full report on the sarigerme thread) You musy go and see Mustafa he was brilliant great with the kids they loved him....sorry we never got back to see you.

We booked swim kids out there and started lessons the same day £30 for 6 and we did 1 private at £17 for half hour it was really good and i would recommend it.

The steak restaurant is a must its just opened by the spa gardens at tropical (no seafood one anymore) you pay for it but still get your all incl drinks the food was the best we ate in 2 weeks and the service was great it was definitly worth paying for if it had of opened in our first week we would have gone twice.....you can pay on credit card it just gets added to room bill if you want.

Money.....we spend under £250 in 2 weeks for 4 of us inlcuding the 12 islands boat trip (drinks on boat), swim kids, steak house, a spa treatment for £40 AMAZING!!!!, a shave, sandals, taxis a couple of times to sarigereme and other bits and pieces. We took £50 in,lira and the rest in sterling and that was ok.

There are chicken pox reports out there at the minute.

The weather is hot hot hot and the nights are getting hotter but your room is lovely and cool.

Mozzies a nightmare...i used 3 diff things including the well recommended sin kov and still got bitten to death, but im very suseptable to them.

We didnt use a tom watch and never saw anyone else using one not necessary.

Hope you like bingo we hate it and it is on in both enetertainment venues in palace everynight which we thought wasnt necessary especially as one rude entertainer often shouted at us to be quiet when talking whilst bingo was on.....i paid for my hol too and if i want to talk in a bar i will i didnt go away to listen to bingo for 2 weeks....sorry if you love it!!!

Anything else just ask and i will post a report in the hotel reviews in a day or 2.

Washers finished must go and refill it!!

the words 'and coming next it's big bucks bingo' were enough to send us out of the amphitheatre each night, but it seemed to only be for 45 minutes or so, when we were there in July anyway.

I guess the tables and chairs we used to find on the balcony were taken up there by other helpful people like Vicky, it was still the best place to sit even on nights when there weren't any chairs, we just used to sit on the step instead.

Glad you had a good time Vicky and that the little un was ok too. Like you I am waiting for a chicken pox progress report from McFester, my fingers are aching now from having been crossed for the past few days for them.

Thanks for the kind words Viv K and Vicky06. Glad you had a great time!

All the small spots have gone  Sorry Briar :offtop However the big ones are all scabbed over now, in fact a couple of scabs fell off leaving the tell tale mark. I honestly think that the way he is going we will be OK.

Vicky, did you young one have the marks and did anyone notice - say anything?

Glad to hear you had a lovely time Vicky! We loved it so much in May we've just booked to go back again at the end of September. (Anyone else going that week?) I'm expecting to be quite quiet because the English schools are back aren't they?

I'm afraid I loved the bingo at the PP, helped that I won the full house two nights in a row mind you!!!! lol

turkish bath was £18... me and my sister in law did a fab package for £40 each turkish bath (soap and peel scrub) full body oil massage face pack and face massage lasted 2hrs. So relaxing and wonderful staff in the spa it is so under used....go for that i would.
My husband had back massage and enjoyed it aswell....that was FREE but thats another story, when i have more time.

Yes he had loads of marks on his face from Pox and i had the DR letter and no one said a word.......hope yours is ok.

I would totally recommend you get mozzie net for your buggy i got one and he slept under it every night when we were out and never got bitten once i was very supprised to see how many people had babies with no sun shades, parasols or even hoods on the buggies let alone mozzie nets.

vicky - do you mean it can be 10 - 21 days between coming into contact with someone with CP and it showing? it you do then im pleased as it means if he does come into contact with someone in the kids clubs we will be home before it comes out.

Mary, our children had loads of contact with people suffering with cp and they never caugt it until 3 weeks ago! We thought they might have been immune somehow but they decided to have the damn thing just as we go to a well deserved & earned holiday!
