Is the Carrefour Hypermarket in Palma near the airport? Is it easy to find?
We are travelling tomorrow and we plan to visit straight after we land (by the way, does anyone know is these supermarkets/hypermarkets shut in the afternoon?) as we need to stock up on baby food, nappies, toiletries etc
Have been past it many times but no idea how to get there. There is plenty of little mini markets in Cala Bona if you need to use them that are open til 10ish just in case you don't get into Carrefour. Have a good time.

Should you find yourself on the Palma ring road (Via Centura) travelling west there is another huge one - take the Vallemosa turn-off and cross back over the ring road.
Most resorts have one or more medium-sized supermarkets which open late. In general for every £100 you would spend at home you will spend 100 euros for the same items at the larger supermarkets. Buy your produce at the open-air markets - fabulous food and vast choice!
