Burriana Beach is at the bottom of a steep hill, known locally as "cardiac hill".

If you look at your map with the sea at the bottom, the area to the left of the Balcon is fairly flat. As you go up the map, there is an incline. This isn't too steep but it is noticable.

The Hotel Monica is on the flat bit, near the sea and looks very nice. I can't find the actual hotel on my map, but it's near Playa Torrecilla.

There is also a nice hotel called the Hotel Marinas, but it's on the N340 coast road heading out of town (left) and not really walking distance.

I'm afraid that I've never really taken much notice of the names of hotels, so can't be a great deal of help, but generally if you stay around the Balcon area, you should be OK.
