hi as far as i i can see the bungaows are great ,as is everything in this hotel they are kept spotlessly clean ,they usually sleep three but are more suitable for two i would say , the nearest town is kadriya (spelling differs)which is about 10/15 minutes away by open sided bus ,which leave from the gateway of the hotel ,there is not much between the hotel and town except open country and i think it would be a boring walk , can also get a taxi into belek itself which is a lot bigger place.

Hi Thanks for you reply you seem to know alot about this hotel which is really usefull. I was a bit surprised about how many in a room though as there are 8 of us going 2 families in each bungalow. In our room they are supposed to be putting a double bed 2 singles and a cot. Hope we will be able to walk around.
seems quite a lot ,two families in one room . there are normally one doube, and one single ,and they will put in a folding bed or a cot,if required , both of my daughters have stayed there ,one with her husband and two teenage kids ,and one with her husband , sister inlaw and two year old baby ,it was not ideal but they coped as it would have meant extra money for more rooms , all depends on how you look at it , im sure all the other good things in this hotel will more than make up for any crowding, enjoy yourself
Also any tips on shopping etc for Belek would be really welcome. Usually go to Olu Deniz so am hoping it will be as good as there.
Thanks for any help.
Anne
dont know if that is during there on season period ,have been there four times already and booked up for another twice this year , we love it but alwayscbeen at the hight of the season ,one member was thgere last november but seemed to be disapointed, let me know if it is during the on season you are going and i will be able to let you know a lot more about the hotel and surrounding areas bluepeterno1
Not sure if it is classed as in season or not. Think we might miss it by one week as lots of other hol companies seem to class it from first of May. Hopefully it will still be okay.
Do you happen to know if there are ATM's there?
Thanks again.
Anne
hi stsr been checking my brochour and it looks like the high season doesent start till may so you will probably miss the best of this hotel , i have written quite a lot on this hotel,if you look through this thread and on the hotel reviews you will be able to read what i have said hope you enjoy it anyway .
What sort of things do you reckon we will miss out on?
We are off for one week on the 22nd April and would appreciate any feedback from anyone who has been recently.
We have had so many mixed reviews and are now wondering if we have booked the right holiday!!! We love Turkey so are hoping the hotel is going to be fine and weather good. We usually do Olu in October so fingers crossed we like it as much.
THanks to anyone who can help out here.
Also can anyone point me in the right direction of what clothes to pack for this time of year. Fingers crossed we can sunbathe!

Absolutely!!!
hope you have a good holiday we are also booked in the sunzeynep in August so are looking foreward to your reply.I had heard they where building lots of bars around the hotel so it will be interesting to hear if this is the case.
hope not lesrs, part of the characterand charm for all the hotels along this beach ,is that it is far away from bars, the closest town/village is kadreya which is about ten/15 mins away on an open sided bus, sometimes pulled by a tractor, all the land between them is mostly forest ,and i for one hope it stays like that.
I was the member who went in November and was not happy. I am sure we were unlucky in our timing as other members have loved it and returned. I hope you all have a lovely holiday and you come back and say I was wrong and it is different and that's genuine.
Margaret
yes margaret i remember you , do you mean in the grounds of the hotel ,or outside ,if it is part of the hotel tht can only make it better.
It seems the people of Kadriya (sp) got some investment money and decided to do up that area calling it Kadriya Beach. It was the vacant lot between the the Zeynap and the next hotel not the Justiano the other way.
As I said the plans in the local paper in November said it would have an amphitheatre, hamam, restaurants etc.
Of course the downside is you are expected to pay as well as your AI but I suppose it would make a change. The bars are not really the type of bars that you would spend the night in they are more for the odd drink or snack when you are out for a walk.

On the money front are we best with euros for this area and are there local ATMs for cash withdrawal?
On the positive side for us looks like the temps are warming up nicely
