Can anyone advise where we can stop off to eat whilst travelling from Manchester to Essex ?
We will have our 18month old granddaughter with us and want to break the journey by stopping off somewhere south of Birmingham. Would like a nice pub/restaurant off the motorway as I don't fancy the services with her.
Would be grateful if anyone has any suggestions.

Check out the 'Hungry Horse' web site - restaurants with a great menu (view on their site).
I like them as they have a great vegetarian selection. If there is one then maybe someone local can say if it is any good?
