For me.....
Rosamar, without doubt.

We once stayed in the hotel Pelicanos, on the side that looked onto the back of the hotel Rosaire and the pool area....or it may have been the Rosamar can't remember which,
but whichever hotel we stayed in, we looked onto the back of the Rosaire.
One comment....it was terrible.

MMmmm. it seems the Rosaire was renovated in 2003 and looking at the pictures on another site, it looks like they have cleaned the pool area up, but recent reviews from August last year, still state that the pool is in the shade all day long and is never used, which I would totally agree with that statement and unless they have acquired some extra land since I clapped eyes on it, then the pool area is very small to say the least.
If my memory serves me well, the Rosaire was a 2 star, so the renovation that took place in 2003, could have brought it into the 3 star bracket.

This is what the Spanish think of it....I presume it is out of 10.

no contest rosamar wins hands down even though we think the food was not as good last time as it was on earlier stays.there is no way the rosaire even comes close.

Both of these hotels are Spanish (as you might expect in Benidorm), but still welcome British guests.
