I also stayed in Rosamar last year it was fab, liked it so much back out there in August. The rooms are spacious and clean and the air conditioning is fab, if you are taking children then wouldnt stay in hotel on evening the entertainment isnt up to much, however plenty to do along bay.

Im out there at same time mate so cannot help, I agree the entertainment was rubbish last year, however plenty to do along bay. If you were to come out of Rosamar down to bottom of street you would turn right and follow bay around to get to Jackie Browns, its a bit of a hike.
Enjoy anbd might see you there, we will be the two tall geordie girls you may see us by the pool

cheers kelly,
From what we've heard about Jackie Browns we'll never get a seat!
Theres 3 families meeting up for a Rosamar reunion, we are from Bradford and the other 2 are flying from Luton and Cardiff. There's about 15 of us and 9 of em are kids!
Well jealous :( as I have never done the Ibiza scene pre-kids!
I've told my lot that when they are old enough they have to take me to Pacha,Amnesia,Es Paradise etc! Didn't go down too well as they think I will be too old by then (probably 40!! They are probably right!!)
Me,my 4 kids and my sis arrive on early hours of 14th August.
We'll look (and listen) out for you!!
19 sleeps till I go! :D

Last year I went on one of Captain Nemo's Glass Bottom Boats.
You book at the marina, get your ticket and turn up at the arranged time and then it goes round Es Vedra and if you are lucky you see dolphins and can dive for champagne(cheap plonk!) The whole thing lasts for 3 hours!
Do you know it,or any similar ones?
If so, how much is it?
I went last October and I assumed that we had a good deal as my sister and I paid 15 Euro each and my 4 kids were free! Brilliant!!
Is this the norm?
I imagine that there is no good deals in August as they dont need to get the customers in.
Please tell me I will expect the same sort of deal(which is great when the kids go free!)

Rosamar Apartments in San An Bay are really nice. I am just back from thre about 4 weeks ago. I have been to Ibiza 6 times and out of all my trips Rosamar was the nicest place I have stayed.

The reception/Foyer to the building is really nice. All glass and marble and air conditioned. The staff at the reception speak excellent English and are very helpful indeed.

We booked a family studio as it was really cheap but there was only 2 of us  . We had 2 rooms, 1 x double bed, 2 x single bed, 2 x bathrooms, 3 x Balconies and 1 x kitchen and 1 x Sofa bed. Huge apartment.

Only gripe about the place is that there are not many eateries near by. You can eat at the apartments which is cheap but limited selection and quality.

The smugglers cove across the road from the entrance is suppose to be good (did not go - too busy clubbing) but food looks quite expensive. Rumis Cafe is at the bottom of the road but its a Cafe - not a resturant.

Jackie Brown's is ok, nothing special. About 15 min walk from Rosamar.

The clientele of the apartments mainly cosists of families, couples and small groups of friends. Did not see any bother and it was never noisey at nights etc.

If anyone wants any more specific information/details please ask

The Smugglers is great.
Fantastic food, nice place, good hosts and a place for the kids to play too.
Great because its over the road especially if you have got shut of your kids in kidzone for the 7-8.30pm slot as you dont have to race back to sign them out. Been there, done that racing back up the road with a full stomach!
Bad point is that it is very expensive.
I holiday on a budget so therefore we only went once then the next night the kids had Hot-dogs in our room.
They loved that though, but i dont go on hol to stand over a simmering pan!!!

Fraz-how did you get a room for 6 cheap when there was only 2 of you?
I am off with my 4 kids and my sister in August and was quoted(the cheapest) £2894 with no under occupancy supplement as we had a full room. Finally got the travel agent down to £2500 after loads of bull!
It worked.
I am planning on going there on 3rd June 2006 after this hol, and hopefully out of season-ish I would expect to pay less than £1600. Am I in with a chance of that happening?
What did you pay?

:( Jealous about the clubbing bit!!! :x

Any names of barstaff etc that you remember?
My 7 year old daughter had a crush on one 2 years on the trot.
He was a barman by the name of kike.
Also the bar manager Jose? Sound familiar?
He dished out free Sangria so its good to be on his good side!

Hey Sharon,

We stated at the Rosamat from 18 to 25 June. We booked our flights and accommodation seperately using the Thomson website. We got a return flight from Glasgow for £138 each.

Our 'family' apartment cost us £306 for the week. As I said it slept up to 5 adults. There was no under ocuppancy charges as it was a room price no matter how many were going to use it.

Also I have recently found that you can also book the Rosamar via another way other than travel/agents at a rate of €55 per room per night.

I am not aware of any of the bar staff as I did not spend much time in there. When I did I found the bar staff to be rather unattentive and could not cope at peak times.

thanks Fraz,
I think it may turn out cheap (and spacious) if theres less of you.
I just priced it up for end of sept as thats when we went last year, and had a shock! :o
I usually do Leeds/Brad to Ibiza but chose flights from Man (as I am dying to fly in the normal hours!)
The flights were £1194 (me,my 4 kids and my sis) :fly

The 6 bedded room for 14 nights was only £647 which seemed good.
Added together was not so good! :tdown
It cost me £1500 last year. :D
Also kids :hyper are not allowed to go to kidzone(I need this for an hours peace!) :rage
Then I would have to get taxi from airport to Rosamar.
I'll have to stick with haggling with the travel agent for next year!!!

cheers for that Kelly,
Will def look out for you. As for the clubbing! Probably a no-no!
I've watched Kev n Perry too many times and am worried I will meet Paul Whitehouse outside Amnesia and he wont let me in cos I am a "monster".
You'll know what I mean if you've seen it!
Either that or they'll charge me double for the extra baggage I carry (weight is creeping on as I am mid 30's)
Keep fit eat less after this hol!! :hyper

My daughter Gabbie (11)will love the tattoo's and will nag forever for one if she sees em!
:argue
In case you dont SEE me then I'll be the one shouting :x "Gabbie"-"Jordan"-"Lauren" or "Sam" as they do the yearly tradition of drowning one another!

I booked 13th cos its the sat after my birthday(7th)and it worked out just that little bit cheaper! I have to pay for 3 of my kids as if they are adults
(criminal offence if you ask me!)
Glad its 13th cos I can see eviction night on BB6.
Ants the man. I'm sure if you're interested you'll know whos won by the time I get there!
If you still dont see me, then I'll be the one with the extra tall sis that doesnt get up till its shady cos she is lazy! You will hear the applause as she finally appears!
