Can anyone give me an idea as to where the Rosamar is and if it's nice. Maybe have the chance of a late deal so just wondered. Have been to Benidorm a good few times now but can't remember this one.

It is further down the street than the Hotel Pelicanos.
You have the Pelicanos, the Rosaire, Calypso and Rosamar .not necessarily in that order...the Ambassador is opposite the Rosamar. The Rosamar is set slightly back from the road.
Is it nice.?..well having stayed there and popping in during April and June of this year to use the pool, IMO yes it is nice.
The food was very good when we stayed there, must be about 2 1/2 years ago.

Thank you. I think I know where you mean now. Do you think the price is lower because of the work being done?
stayed there 3 times, the last time being october 05,still a very nice hotel BUT the food is not as nice as it was, there is less choice than there once was and the salad bar was the same each night. we ate out six nights out of the two weeks we were there.
I really like this hote -IMO it's the best I've in in Benidorm.
& The Food is fantastic. I'm pretty fussy and most years I just end up eating out and not bothering with the food in the hotel after the first night. I ate in the restaurant of the Rosamar every night except 1 when we went in April. There is always something and the food is always hot!!
The staff are fantastic - really help you to enjoy yourself!! They've good memories aswell - most of them remembered us from Christmas when we went back in April (that's probably because we're good tippers).
Hope you have a lovely time. You won't be dissapointed with the hotel.

Going there on 30th November for 3 nights (6 of us). Hope the hotel will be OK. What like is the weather at this time of the year. Anyone know.
I asked earlier for directions to this hotel but have just returned from Benidorm and actually popped in to have a look. Didn't actually stay there this year, ended up in the Rio Park. Have booked the Rosamar for next August and just noticed someone has said something about guys having to wear long trousers for dinner......is this still the case?
we stayed at this hotel 2 year ago and the men are allowed to wear 3/4 pants but no vests must be t-shirts
Thanx for that. If it's changed when you go back in October can you let me know. I'm not long back from Benidorm but can't wait to go back already.
Can anyone offer me any information on the hotel, the location - any 'must see's' or 'must do's', good places for entertainment and best local pubs. Are there any local bakers near to the hotel where I could maybe get a birthday cake for him - was considering sticking one in my bag from M&S but not sure if I would get it thru with all the additional security checking at the minute.
Reading the posts on this site I am really looking forward to going and hope the weather is as good as it was when Sanji was there a week or two ago.
Looking forward to your replies - Thanks
Good to hear you are off to Benidorm, i am sure you will have a great time.
If you turn left out of the hotel you will see Hotel Pelicans and Ocas (Ocas has round shaped balconies), Just past this on the left there is an indoor market where you should be able to get a cake, either bought or made.
You are not far from the entertainment, try Stardust and Morgan Tavern. They have lots of good comediens and singers in both.
Have a great time

Sorry Molliesmum
hi we found a nice bakery on the yellow brick rd right up towards the rio park the pasties were fantastic
Hi , we have booked a week in September with our 3 year old, can anyone tell me what would be the best place just after tea from about 6pm till 9pm ( his bedtime ) for kids entertainment as reading the reviews on this hotel there is not that much for children in the Rosamar.
Or if you come out the rosamar, turn right walk right up past rays chippy and the penny farthing, across the road is a place called the florida bar, it has trampolines and a couple of kiddy amusements.
Or come out the rosamar, turn left and walk to the indoor market. Cross straight over the road then walk down to your right. You will see a statue on the right in the road of a mermaid woman, here, turn left up a small hill and there are a few pubs up there that has kids stuff on, The Cellar, White Horse.
Enjoy your holiday.
Just thought i'd bring the Rosamar back up the list a bit. Has anyone just returned from there. Some of the recent comments on the hotel reviews don't sound as good as earlier comments. Not long to go, we fly out on 11th Aug for 2 weeks.
My friends are in the rosamar now they are due home on tuesday the 24th. I will get a few days with them when i go tomorrow and will get a update from them for you same with calypso where the other lot are cheers mazza
I also have a friend there at the moment, but she won't be back for a week yet. She has texted another friend to say that the hotel is lovely, but the rooms are small. No mention of the food or anything. Will find out for myself 5 weeks today.
Thank you. I had heard the rooms were quite small but i'm in a single room so i'm not really that bothered, lol. I look forward to hearing any updates any of you may have before I go on 11th Aug.
