When we were in Puerto del Carmen in November, we were down near the harbour, and heard someone say there was a small market there (on Sundays I think). Is this right, because we've not heard of one down there before.

Perhaps their referring to the one at teguise ? I cannot recall seeing any that way
I read there was a weekly Saturday market starting in Tias from last Saturday (27/1).
Is Tias the little place at the foot of the hills that you can see from the road that runs along the back of PDC, and do you think it would be possible to walk there? If so, does anyone know if there's somewhere in Tias where we could have a spot of lunch and a drink?
I wouldn't walk upto tias, the main highway would be a pain to cross. Technically it's 3-5km away from PDC depending who you believe. I'm sure you could get a bus or taxi up there though for a pittance
