I have never been to Crete before and really want to try it in September..
There are so many resorts to choose from and would be grateful for any suggestions anyone has.
I will be going with my boyfriend we are both in our twenties, we like a nice sandy beach , nice resturants , nice scenery and some nightlife ( good choice of bars etc)...
I really would apreciate any suggestions.

There are plenty of place for you to stay on the island. From your message I would start with Hersonissos.
It has beaches, restaurants, nightlife etc. You will love Star Beach.
It has an excellent bus service to explore other parts too.
