Hi weemaz from a fellow Scot with the same amount to lose as you!! I'm doing not bad so far this weekend - trying to keep busy, and went swimming yesterday. Planning to go again today if I can face going out in the rain. Off to make something for lunch now and try not to have anything I shouldn't. I am managing to be reasonably focused with my slimming group weigh in on Tuesday. However, we are going to Paris on Thursday for a few days, so i don't know what will happen then :yikes Any tips for being away in a city with wonderful food for 4 days???

Hi Meerkat2505, sorry dont have any tips re what not to eat in paris, if you are that worried just let me go instead :lol:

Right...my weight seems to fluctuate a lot but on Sunday 4th I was 11, 10 and weighed myself today and I'm 11,7!!! Yay me! My target for next Sunday is gonna be to get to 11,4. I'm dead chuffed seeing as this week I've had my birthday as well!!Not too bad! Hope I keep it up now! Funny how losing a couple pounds gives you the encouragement you need to really go for it!

Well, weigh in was this morning, and....

I've lost 3lb :D :D :D

ignoring those cravings was well worth it! Just had a toffee eclaire to treat myself, about 2 syns :D

Hey, Hey, Hey it's weigh day :!: I've gained 1.5lbs :cry: I am sooooooo despondent.

Went away for the weekend so I did expect a gain. It just seems that if I eat just one or two non-diet foods I gain weight.

Previous 2wks I was good and went to gym and only lost 0.5lb in 2wks.

I hate this dieting malarky. I have about 10wks to lose 10-14lbs, but with another weekend away in 2wks time there's not much chance.

I lost 1.5lb so pretty chuffed with myself considering that I have done absolutely no exercise this week at all.

Dont feel too disappointed Joolz. If I went away for the weekend I would probably have doubled that :roll: . Be good this week and I am sure you will make up for it. Well done Dramaqueen - hope you enjoyed your eclaire - and also Becki85star - it would be deadly if I weighed myself more than once a week.

Hi Everyone, Weigh in was last night 1.5lbs feeling good. Going to get a chinese tonight. Will not go over the top will count it in with my scottish slimmers checks.

Better week this time - lost 2lbs which makes it a stone since Jan 1st---only another 2 to go :roll: Will have to really work at this week as away for the weekend

Well done everyone.

Ive taken the plunge and, along with my mum, am joining Slimming World. Start proper on Tuesday. Going to make the most of my weekend now. Take away pizza and a couple of alcoholic beverages tonight !!

Cant seem to make any real headway doing it by myself. My sister's wedding is in 2 months and then my holiday in September. Want to lose at least 3 stone but feel I need to do this properly and follow a strict regime. See how it goes anyway.

I have weighed myself again today and I really don't know what's going on, it's been a week since I last weighed and I seem to have put on weight, I am now 11Stone 9!! Really don't understand it as I've been really good, so, I'm starting a proper calorie and fat controlling plan now and, fingers crossed , this time next week I'll have some good news to report!

I'm well chuffed, haven't lost for a while and even had a gain last week.

Becki - just weigh yourself once a week, on the same scales, in the same place at roughly the same time. Good luck.

Kudzu is not particularly helping me with the wine cravings, but I'll keep taking them. In a bit of a bad time at the moment, which is no excuse, but it's manifesting itself into drinking wine a couple of nights a week and eating prawn and mayo sarnies. :(

Hello all :wave . Hope everyone doing good.

Went to Slimming World on Tuesday. It wasnt that bad at all. Was weighed and had lost 2lbs from the week before when I weighed myself which was a pleasant surprise actually. Have so far (I know, only a day and a half :roll: ) followed the diet and its not that bad really. You can eat practically what you want as long as its not crisps and chocolate. Filled up on fruit, salad and veg yesterday.

Lets see how my first week goes though. Fingers crossed !!

Not heard from Triviumgoddess lately. Hope the diets working out ok for you.

Diets not really gone to good id put on 3lbs and id been following the diet really well i dont understand a bit upset
might try not going to weight watcher no more my try it at home see how i go well done sarah

Trivium. Someone at Slimming World said that they had tried Weight Watchers and didn't think it was that good. They said that they were always hungry and that they too didn't lose weight. Perhaps its not the diet for you. This Slimming World one looks really good. You get to eat as much fruit, veg and muller light yoghurts as you want. No calorie counting at all. You can alternate days so that on one day you eat unlimited pasta/rice/potatoes and very limited meat and on other days you can eat unlimited meat (including bacon) and very limited pasta/potatoes. Might be worth looking into that diet.

Listen to me, the expert :roll: ive only been doing it two days !!!!

Keep positive though. Theres always next week.

Weigh In was tonight only loss 1/2lb. Need to be sooooo good this week as going away next weekend for 4 days and cant ask my brother and his wife to cook me low fat meals. (thats my excuse :lol: )
