I am also thinking of joining a new line dancing class that is starting beside me. Has anyone did this before and is it fun.

Thanks for the words of encouragement. The weather has picked up lovely in Durham so I'm off for a few long walks with the dog (i don't do gym)

Still quite chuffed I haven't put any on!!
Well, I've ordered some Kudzu tablets. They are some herbal stuff that Gillian McKeith apparently mentioned on her programme (but she used tincture to make a drink), its supposed to aid with reducing alcohol intake. I've only found one review, which was positive.
My problem is I drink more than I should, and it's purely through habit and lack of will power. It doesn't make me eat at the time, but it makes me want rubbish the next day. I seem to have this thing that I must have wine or vodka on a Friday night, when really, er, no I shouldn't.
So we shall see if this stuff has any effect, meanwhile, no purchase of alcohol tonight for me.
i will be starting my diet monday with weightwatchers so hopefully it goes well

well roll on monday, i start my diet then. i want to lose at least 3 stones for oct so heres hoping. my dvd came today (the one with her off corrie) it is suppost to be good.
anyone else done this dvd and did it help??
i am going to have a final pig out this weekend before i start to count the points.

Hi Everyone, had my weigh in last night only lost a lb so have to try harder this week.
Hi everyone, went to slimming club last night and stayed the same, was gutted as I know ive been really good and walked loads more as well. Never mind its made me more determined for next week.
Back on it tomorrow! got the apples ready for breakfast...
In my defense, I've had a pretty bad cold then a chest infection... so I've had to have lemsips and honey and lemon drinks

I have had a terrible week, which has ended this weekend with pizza and garlic bread on Saturday and my dad's birthday yesterday. I don't normally have a sweet tooth but I did thoroughly enjoy the slice of birthday cake AND the banoffee pie (which I have never had before and thought was wonderful. How did I miss that one ?).
The result this morning was nothing on, nothing off which isnt so bad but next week will be the tale tell. So, its back to the serious stuff now. If I don't, I going to have to do something drastic like gag myself otherwise I'm going to be two ton tess for my holiday this year.

I am off to Jamaica in 9 weeks and would love to lose at least 10 lbs by then, so looks like I will be visiting this thread alot in the next few weeks, love shirleyv xxxxx
my first day of dieting today.
closed my curtains and did my dvd (very good).
been very good not picked at anything.
i want to lose 3 stone for my hols.
we should compare notes as I am hoping for a 3 stone loss too, how long have you got till your hols??
last time i did weight watchers and lost 22lbs in 12 weeks being very good
Overall, I had a good day yesterday. I dont have a big problem dieting during the week, its at the weekend when I fall off the diet wagon and I can eat and drink for England. Its me that has to change that though.

Rob had an operation at Donny Royal Infirmary and was so ill afterwards he lost over a stone in 6 days! He is now determined not to put it back on..but i reckon he needs to get himself healthy first before he starts thinking about dieting..so i just want him to be able to eat anything at the minute to aid his recovery. In sympathy with him, and as i have spent alot of time looking after him, i ate next to nothing and lost nothing..big fat Zero.... how do you guys stay motivated as i am really struggling at the minute to even shift a couple of pounds and i am trying all sorts.(not the liqourice ones.. )
well done to all you losers this week..i am well jealous.
