Hi All, Still not managed to get in the right frame of mind for dieting. Did okay at work and then came home and ate a lot of rubbish.

Todays another day, lets see how I do today.

Going to join Scottish Slimmers on Thursday think I need loads of help

Keep up the good work those of you who are doing great.

Banana and nectarine home made smoothie for brekkie again today. They are not the tastiest things in the world (might add honey sometime), but a good way of getting in a few of your '5 a day' points.

Hi everyone, hope you dont mind me joining in, got back on the diet wagon last thursday after a steady gain since last years holiday in june. Just booked for this june so really need a couple of stone off.

I'm a June as well and have learnt through past experience to not leave it too late! Just been talking to some girls at work and they are all trying hard too. Changing habits is what it's all about!

Going to a local slimming club with a group of friends, only £1.50 a week, but following weight watchers diet. Only trouble is sometimes we'll be doing something together at the weekend and think well at least we'll all have been bad together, when we should be thinking all stick together and be good.

Just been on lateral thigh trainer, could only manage 15 mins, how unfit. Am going to have lunch now, has anyone bought the new individual sachets of smash, only 1.5 points on WW.

thanks for the tips guys

will deffo try those alternatives

one other problem - girl next to me at work stuffs her face all day and constantly offers me sweets etc yesterday she has a giant bag of fruit pastiles and today it was breadsticks dipped in cheese and this was at 8.15 am

This does not help

I used to work with a woman who was always coming back from lunch with muffins etc. and after a couple of times I just told her thanks very much but don't bring me cakes as I really didn't want them. She was a little 'off' about it but I think that was more down to if I was eating them as well she didn't feel bad about having any herself.

Your abstinence might just encourage her to cut down, you never know!

Got offered a big slice of cake this morning by the girls in the office and said "get thee behind me Victoria Sandwich sponge, even if you are from M & S" - Then went and hid in my own office until the cake craving went away....

just had homemade pasta and bean soup for lunch and it was yummy! Managing to keep motivated with no problems since I seem to have acquired half a stone since the start of December from somewhere

Gym tonight -that rowing machine has my name on it.

Got on the scales this morning and have lost 5lb in two weeks. Only another stone to go.............................. I havn't found it hard this year for some reason. You watch, next week i'll lose nowt

I'm a bit disappointed. No, scratch that, i'm very disappointed. :( I put ON 2lbs this week. I have been really good, no alcohol, no rubbish, plenty of fruit and veg and generally ate only the good stuff. Any treats were allowed and included within my calorie allowance. I am gutted. The only upside was that I did lose an inch around my waist and tummy. I think I would rather see the scales lose than the tape measure  . Anyway, I drowned my sorrows with half a bottle of wine last night. So back to square one again. Hopefully the scales will go the right way next week, and its back on the exercise bike full-time

I'm sure it will be better next week Sarah. And losing inches is great!

I've been good with the old fresh smoothies every morning before work. I actually think it's starting to make me feel healthier and I feel it may have a good effect on my overall appetite when it becomes a real, everyday thing that I just do automatically.

that used to happen to me a lot , no real weight loss for a week or so but the inches went then without warning the scales would show a 5lb drop so you may be very happy next week :D

Lost 3.5lbs this week. Been really good but lost the plot last night had friends down and went way over points with the alcohol, just have to try make it up, weigh in not till thursday.

Three pounds this week - :D
Could have been more if not for a random incident with a corkscrew and bottle of Pinot Grigio

Well done lallygirl, if you like your wine like me, I always think you have to include it in your diet or as soon as you start drinking again the weight will go straight back on. Done that before myself.
Reply
I have to include it but went way over last night! I blame the large glass!

Well done you as well - we will soon disappear :D
Reply
We must use the same glasses!
