Anyway, morning all.
I cant say much really, I had a piece of chocolate fudge cake topped with extra thick Channel Island fresh cream after my lunch yesterday. It was yummy and I dont regret a bite of it So weighing today - only lost ½lb this week. I cant be too disappointed can I ? Going to get really serious now (where have I heard that before ) and start dieting properly and exercising like I did before my holiday this year. Christmas is coming and I dont really want to be watching what I eat over the period so if I lose now then come xmas it wont be so hard ..... blah blah blah ....

Hey, hey, hey it's weigh day Put 1lb on Nobody to blame but my big greedy self. Have binged all week, and no, have not enjoyed it, felt I was doing it to rebel!! 9 days to lose 10lb!! From now till Beni I'm going to be good.
I have to lose at least 3lbs per week until we go away and i am getting nowhere fast.. my problem is not during the week, i seem to lose it during the week, but rather at the weekends when i spoil it all by drinking copious amounts of voddy ( mind you, we were celebrating Rob's 40th birthday tomorrow a little early..)

Didnt weigh this week. Been really naughty despite best intentions and just couldnt face it. I just cant seem to get any enthusiasm (..spelling..) to diet at the moment. So have decided to be whatever weight this week and try to start anew next.
Anyway, good luck to all those still trying. Happy holidays to those that are still going and a clean start to the diet next week.

Woke up during night and felt as if a hot golf ball was lodged in my throat! Hopefully this will prevent me from eating for a few days. Whole family had it at some point recently.
Everybody seems to do well although Joolz yo yo is your expertise
Well just under 9 weeks for the caribbean holiday, still in holiday mode but not dieting one though
Hopefully moving house in the next 3 weeks. Our house will not be ready for christmas so got to go in rented for about 3 months. Therefore, not been thinking about dieting, this is not good
Coupled with this I have not been to the gym for weeks now has I have injured my shoulder and off from work.
So in a nutshell, I have about 9 weeks to get focused and lose weight. With the shoulder injury, moving house, christmas what chance do I have about having a bit of me time and focusing on not having a drink of whatever comes of a nightime.
Any suggestions then please bring them on answers on a postcard

Hi again. Just decided it's time to become serious again. With not long to go now till xmas surely I can be good until then. I'm going to make a serious effort from......NOW! My target will be 6 pounds. Will keep you all posted.
Well........... The bad penny returns. I have been soooooooooooo naughty since i last spoke to you all but i managed to stay the same weight (how brilliant is that!!!!! ) So i decided enough was enough i couldnt get away with it forever. Got back on plan a week last wednesday and the day before i was to get weighed i relized that i had a delivery and couldnt go. Now up until then i had been really good but knowing i wasnt going to class decided to have the wed off. I went out drinking and had a chinese banquet (so all good work was probably undone ) but i got back on plan on thursday (not like me i know i would normally snowball from that) I have been extra strict and done the fast forward so i hope it pays off for me as i go on my cruise in 5 sleeps
So how are you girls Joolz glad you had a great time in beni. Has val been and come back yet If so val i hope you and rob had a great time

So 2 weeks ago I took the plunge and went to a local diet group

This is the best diet I have ever done, in fact I would call it a diet because I am certainly not reducing the amount of food that I eat, I am just eating sensibly. Well the good news is that I lost 5lbs the first week and 3.5lbs the second. It is based on counting carbs - every 5g of carbs is equivalent to a teaspoon of sugar - and you have to try to keep under 12 teaspoons of sugar per day. Sounds easy until you see how much is hidden in cereals and processed ready meals.
I feel really inspired by having a good start, it has spurred me on, so hopefully I will have lost a stone by Xmas and another by the time I go away next year.

For those who are going away hope you all have a great time.
Hubby is on a fitness thingy at the moment. He is on his own low carb plan. He is still eating carbs, i.e cereal for breakfast but is cutting out potatoes and bread. He lost 5lb in the first week.

I'm with Weight Watchers and I'm afraid I missed my weigh in today, so will have to go tomorrow. Not looking forward to it as i've eaten out 3 times in the last week and haven't been good
Had a good excuse today though, as I was waitng to hear from an interview and I got the job!
So I'm very happy, but I am sure that will all change tommorrow when I step on the scales......
