We have just a week without kids to holiday this year late July. We loved Megeve in the summer, as we love walking, picnicing, quite small hotels but near to towns with a bustly restaurant and bar life....

We did think about Sardinia, but it just hasn't grabbed us...busy, nothing to see...

We hate lazing on a beach but want to relax.....

Please give some ideas... we need help. My g/f will be 40 this July so I also want to make it special.....

Tuscany? Spain? I am at a loss.......
