Where to stay ?

Stroller, it depends on whether you like lots going on or whether you want it quieter.

Personally I love EsCana and have spent many a happy holiday there with my children when they were younger. Cala Llonga is another nice resort (although smaller), Portinax another. However, if you want a little more going on then San Antonio Bay may suit you, being near the action but not in the thick of it.

Why not check out our resort reviews HERE whilst your waiting for some more replies.

not sure about san an bay for you as its just round the corner from san an but calla llonga, siesta, es cana are nice - but santa eulalia has a bit of everything and is arguably the most family friendly "town" on the island (given that theres really only 3 towns and the rest are summer "resorts" or villages")

also i dont think its any coincidence that cala llonga, es cana, siesta & santa eulalia are a stones thorugh away from each other :)
anywhere really other than san an, playa den bossa & ibiza town with what you want - cala san vicente and portintax or san miguel are really nice but theres not much there but if you have a hire car then somewhere like that (or anywhere in the north of the island) is lovely

look at a map of the island and draw a line between ibiza town and san antonio - pick anywhere above that line :)

I agree re San Antonio Bay, but I have had quite a few friends with families go on the outskirts and enjoyed it, (although personally it wouldn't suit me), I just offered it as an alternative.

I agree with you re Santa Eulalia - great resort adeibiza :)

Hi there,
there are a number of family friendly resorts in Ibiza for English tourists, Cala Llonga and Es Cana are nice similar with amusements etc and nice beaches, there's also portinatx and San Miguel which are a bit more relaxed, and also have nice beaches etc.

ther ones i would steer clear of are San Antonio and Playa Den Bossa, in my opinion there's too much of a clubbing community who holiday here for it to be suitible for a nine year old.
