My husband, mother-in-law and I want to go to either the Iberostar Costa Calero in Puerto Calero or the Iberostar Papagayo in Playa Blanca. Whilst we are happy to share a room for the 3 of us I am worried it may be a bit cramped. I've read all the hotel reviews but not sure which to choose from.

Also, are there any bars/restaurants close to the Ib. Papagayo? I know there is a marina but whilst we want a quiet holiday, we don't want to be in bed for 11.00pm!!!

The prices I have are for either one room for us 3 at the Costa Calero or 2 rooms at the Papagayo, so obviously the latter is the more tempting offer!
