Please, please, please can anyone offer me some advice on the best place to stay in Naama Bay?
Husband and I (both late 30's) are planning to go end of June this year for 2 weeks. Would really like to go AI, but be centrally located in Naama Bay so we can have a few nights out as well.
I've searched everywhere I can think of on the net - in fact my head is swimming!!!!
Please help.
Cheers
Sam
We went B&B and found eating out really cheap. We had 6 teenagers with us including veggies/fussy/junk fans. They loved Hard Rock Cafe where a meal for 8 of us averaged around £40/50 with drinks. This was about the most expensive place we ate at. A few of us ate in Old Sharm where a meal was around £2/3.
My friend found drinks expensive as she only like premium brands, £4 for a brandy, whereas I'm a cheap date on the local brew or beer. Depends what you like. We were usually tired after a long day and in bed early so can't comment on the nightlife.
We all loved the warm sea and snorkelling was amazing, can't wait to go again.
Hope you have a fantastic holiday whatever you decide to do.
Thanks for your reply Kazzy.
it has 5 * and also on a private beach.
Sam,there is a new hotel opening soon in Naama bay which is AI.Its the Tropicana Jasmine and is on the beach.I was offered it last year by Co-op travel but the opening has been put back until this year.If you look on the map of Sharm(sorry I dont know how to do links) it is near to the Tropicana Rosetta but on the beach. It looks lovely on the Tropicana website and I wish I could find out when it is opening.
