We stayed round the corner from Club Julian a couple of years ago. There are some very good bars and restaurants in the area.
Give the Ibiza Bar and the Adam and Eve a go which is about 5 minutes from Club Julian walking towards the beach area.
If my memory services me right it is about 20-30 minutes walk ( 1.5 km) to beach front but there is the dolmas when you get that runs from early till late.
I passed Julian quiet a few times last year, from the outside it appears to be a very posh, ive no doubt the quality carries on inside too.
I stayed here last May in the hotel part and it was excellent.I must admit I got it at a real good price so was pleasantly surprised how good it was.The rooms were the biggest I have stayed in and kept immaculate. It is situated at the back of the resort in the Amulatan area but dolmus leave from just over the road and take about 10 minutes into Marmais. There are several bars and resturants nearby but we were HB which I think you can upgrade to when you are there. The hotel has a resident entertainment team who never stop from morning till night. The shows on an evening are good. The thing I found strange is they dont take money at the bars. You have to get a watch like thing and pay at reception for the amount you want on it.Every time you spend anything ,including items in the shop comes of the total. There is a mosque very very near and you will be woken at 5am but if you take ear plugs you will sleep through it.You will enjoy it here.
Hi I have to agree with the post above myself and my daughter went in october it was amazing the rooms and the food there was even sunday lunch we thought it was well worth the money
It's a very good area with plenty of bars and restaurants.Recommend Adam and Eve, Great Corner and Valentines. Last two turn left out of your hotel head towards Madboys but don't cross the road.Turn right and walk a few minutes. Great Corner then cross road and Valentines another few yards.Sure you'll love it
any info wub be very helpfull please . as its our frist time going to turkey

Hi we stayed here a few years back and it was great, plenty to do for the children, great pools, food good, entertainment great,we had a 2 bedded apartment and it was very spacious,if it wasnt so dear i would love to go back to it.A dolmus stops nearby to take you into town or its about 20 mins walking,we found it good to walk there as we often stopped at the amphitheatre.Taxis right outside, its in the armulalan area which is just outside the main strip.Theres quite a big thread on this hotel if you put a search out for it.Hope this helps, you will love it
we r stoppin at the club julian on the 18/5/07 and we have read off a women that u cantnot buy drinks with money but u get a wist band and that goes on a acount wot u pay for ??? can any one tell us if this is true?? best wishes dave n fam
Yes thats right its called a tom you get it from reception and put say 100 lira on and when you buy anything from the complex at all they scan your tom and the money is deducted from the total you have on it,i wasnt over keen on the idea but had no problems at all.

As youve never been to turkey before be ready to be stopped as you pass nearly every restaurant, they all try to get you to eat in there place, just tell them in a polite manner that either youve eaten or youve got half/full board at your hotel. They will then wish you a good day/night and leave you alone. If you intend on going on trips take a look at the tour operators along the road, works out cheaper than the ones you booked your holiday with. You will have great time and love turkey
We are off to Marmaris on Friday and we have heard that having a turkish bath when you arrive can help you gain a deeper longer lasting tan. We are staying at Club Julian in Marmaris so could anyone recommend a Turkish Bath near to our apartments and any idea of how much this would cost.
Many Thanks
Diane & Donny
Ive not yet done the Turkish Bath but there are tour offices all around your hotel which you can book from. The rep will probably try and sell you one but with a hefty markup so shop around, it wont take you long.
The apartments you are going to be staying in look very nice (from the outside anyway), hope you have a great holiday!
We had a Turkish bath at Club Atrium last week which is about a 5 minute walk from Club Julian (if that). It cost £10 each including an oil massage. It's not a public bath so there will only be the two of you in there. It was well worth it.
We used Club Atrium when we stayed at Julian too. Could recommend it.
Thanks folks Club Atrium it is then. All excited now as we leave tomorrow woo hoo....!!!!
I just got back from Marmaris on Tuesday morning. Booked my Turkish bath with Ozzy & Eddy (shop on righthand side walking from Club Julian to Club Atrium. You can go at any time, we went at 6pm and got back at 9pm. Cost £6 for Turkish bath, full body massage and head/face massage. They took us to Club Candan near Thursday Market place. Excellent value for money - would recommend it to anyone. There is also a photographer there to take fun photos
Go on you first day it really does make a difference to your tan.
Might see you are the airport tomorrow
Have a great time Donny!! I have 38 sleeps to wait
