hiya , we're back.we've had a great time and will do a report soon.
For the person who wanted meal times here goes :-
Breakfast 7.30 - 10.30
lunch(at beach club)12.30 - 14.30
Snack bar 11.00 18.30
Diner 18.30 - 21.30.
For Gower
upgrade for child age 10(wanted to know the age because we said it was friends going)
4-7 days 26 euros a day
11 -14 days 21 euros a day
If you pay on arrival it costs( 10% discount on arrival)
11-14 days 32.40 euros for adult and 19.00 for child or
4 - 7 days 37.80 euros for adult and 23.40 for child .
Has any one thought of ringing first choice to see if you can upgrade before you go ?Just a thought ,i'm sure they'd rather the money than the hotel.
Pool towels are 15 euros each to hire, remote control for tv 10 euros and safety deposit box 2.30euros per day and 10 euros deposit.
If i can be of any more help please don't hesitate to ask
regards Hassie ( mrs ) ha ha
Glad you had a good time Hassie, we are off next week. Are the rumours about "chips inclusive, jacket spuds extra" true? Please tell me there's more than chips on offer!
glad you had a good time, thanks ever so much for finding out the rates, really looking forward to reading your review,we are going in june and really looking forward to it,is it worth e-mailing hotel to request low floor?do you or anyone know email address?there are 12 of us going with children of all ages and would feel happier if we were on a low level.
the email adress for holiday village is central@holidayworld.es
if you google holidayworld.es you will get hotel website with lots of nice photos and plenty of info. english version of site also available there too.
hi hassie
glad to hear that you had fab holiday. any info on the new wave pool.
sounds very exciting.
we only ate at the snack bar at lunch time and survived !!!!!!
There is a choice of what I call fast food, burger ,pizza ,hotdogs, toasted sandwiches and CHIPS etc.
If you want more than this the restaurant at the beach club has a good selection of food, but we only went there once because we don't eat much at lunch time. The only drawback about the beach club restaurant is when it's raining it is a good walk.
We can't fault the food ,yes it was a bit samey but no different to any where you would stay for two weeks and get fed up.
The wave pool etc is coming along but in my husbands opinion won't be ready for along time.
I have tried to upload some pics but as yet can't see them.
Hassie1, I've had a look in the upload album and there are no pictures in it. I did move a few yesterday are these the ones
yes those are they !!!!!!!! no David Bailey I'm afraid.
Went to HV Viva last year, was ok but not as good as HV Costa del Sol.
Is the evening entertainment still outside - there were lots of probs when we were there in Sept 05 with locals complaining so they kept trying to move the entertainment indoors.
Been really busy with work so cant wait now
Thanks for sharing all the info Hassie - looking forward to it - all you gotta do now is promise us top weather
Anyone going 19th May ? Really looking forward to it, friend has been 3 times and carnt fault the place, hope the weather picks up a little before we go. Have been to HV Turkey when it first opened, loved the resort but foods wasnt too good.

I have now written my review, hope it helps ,any questions please ask
Hi there me.my daughter and my partner were supposed to be going this year but have had to change till next year does anyone know what the weather is like end of march. will it be hot by then or cold still.
Kids loved it thats the main thing. I'll do a review shortly.
Any questions and I'll post back in the week.
One other thing - do go All Inc, the place is isolated and SC will be an ordeal.
we are in spain in March every year,it is a bit of hit and miss, this year was lovely and hot, rained when we left 26th March ,but it is warmer than uk at any time.has been roughly 30-32 this week on the Torremolinos web cam
Thanks for that, just wondered is the H/V near to the beach,if so whatis it like. And it was mentioned that the H/V is isolated just wondered if you are close to any shops or markets or anything. Is anyone booked to go in the easter holidays next year, were off friday 28th March till 11th April flying from Gatwick. Can't wait .Has anyone been to the H/V turkey and the holiday village costa del sol,how do they compare? and what one do you think is better.Went to the Turkey H/V last year and thought it was excellent.
Does anyone know apart from this website, tripadvisor and the firstchoice website if there are any more websites with pictures of the complex. Thanks
Hi again, just wondered how much money would you suggest to take with you,we are going for 2 weeks all inclusive, maybe will go on a couple of excursions thanks.
hi sweetie pie, h.v is right on the beach but unfortunately on the top of a cliff. They where just building new steps down to the beach,at the side of the beach club, when we where there and alot of steps at that.No shops at all near, apart from hv shop which was expensive. Can't really advise on amount of money to take because it all depends on what you want to do on holiday.Bus service is great and you can find a few supermarkets along the routes. regards hassie 1
we are going to hv in beginning of june and thinking of hiring a car as we are going sc with a view to possibly upgrading to all inc for a week when we get there, can anyone recommend a good car hir company and should we book before we go or when there?
