kkazz,
just look for the fit bloke in the white speedos !
Can anyone help. I have just read on another site that when you check out from this Hotel at midday, they take your band back and you cannot get any all inclusive food or drink. Is this correct? as we do not leave until about 6pm for our flight home. I will be annoyed if this is the case, as we will not be arriving at the hotel until about 9pm and surely your all inclusive should be up until you actually leave the hotel. The other site also states that they did not do this for the German's only the British.
BUT we were friendly to all the bar staff and waiters and I didn't wear my band past the first day ( because I kept scratching my daughter when putting on sun tan cream ) if you are nice to them they will be nice to you!
one member of bar staff made me a litre bottle of vodka and orange to take to the airport because they had heard that our fight was delayed.
You need to get used to the idea that there are other nationalities staying and that they have different attitudes to the brits and just smile. go with it and enjoy yourself because you are in a foreign country and you are on hols
mags
ps any questions feel free to ask
We were there 2 years ago and we paid £20 to keep our room until late evening. They did not cut our bands off at all. We used everything until we left for the airport.
at the lti now and today it was 44 degs in the shade and its getting hotter ! so bring plenty of suncream !
Hi - just read that there is construction work going on in the lobby area to build a new restaurant? Work should be complete August 2007. Just wondering if anyone been recently to LTI, can you please update us about any disruption. We are going 1st September !!
Got a letter through the post this weekand its about the contruction work going on at the LTI, does any one know actually whatconstruction work it is and where abouts in the hotel it is going on, doesnt bother me that much but just want to no what to expect when we arrive, hope it will still be relaxing.
Is there a money exchange in the hotel? Going to take english pounds with me like i did last oct but the hotel had a money exchange desk which made so much eaise then going to find 1, if they dont have 1 what is the nearest one to use?
Do we get bottled water in our fridges daily or is it just 1 bottle per person per stay ( what the baron palms does) and are there filling up stations around the hotel when bottles are empty? as i dont no where we would get out water from for a rooms.
Do we actually need water shoes, i know there is a long jetty we have to walk on to actually get in to the sea but once were in the water are the shoes needed?
Is there a bus from our hotel that we can get to and from namma bay?has any 1 got any prices?
Sorry to askall these questions but just a few things i wanted to no before we arrived!
Only 15 days to go
Thanks
We stayed two years ago and the hotel change money at the reception for you. I took english and changed it over there.
I would take water shoes as it is still quite shallow when you step off the end of the jetty.
They put one bottled water per person in the fridge per day. You could get cold bottled water from any bar and they came round the pools with it all day. They would clear away the half drunk warm ones and replace with ice cold bottles. We always took some back to the room.
The bus to Namma Bay was free but you had to book it in advance.
Have a great holiday we loved the resort.

my familly and I, are going to this hotel next June, slightly worried about how its going to be due to mixed reviews. weve been told its a lovely place but then we read a review that says its terrible.
please help settle our minds!
There were mixed reviews when we were there two years ago. But it was one of the best holidays we have had. Service was first class, the food was great we did not have one bad meal. The resort was so clean. We would return.
One gripe was cold food but I have mentioned in a previous post that there were two levels in the restaurant and downstairs was fine. The people we were talking to on their last but one day did not even realise there was a downstairs.
We had a stone cold beefburger and chips from the beach cafe, so we didn't eat there again, but the cooked Pizzas and kebabs at the beach restaurant were worth going back for (which I did everyday once we discovered them).
We are going in september to LTI. We are a little affraid about the food, and rooms. Can anybody tell me some more about the food, and rooms, what are the new rooms, and what is it about the food??Cold, too hot, not much, etc??
Greetings Helmy from the Netherlands
Not sure what you mean about rooms? We had a Junior suite which we paid for and this was huge, two double beds, a sofa and two armchairs, patio with table and chairs. The bathroom was huge as well with a bath with shower over, a seperate shower cubicle, toilet and wash hand basin.
Just remember if you have paid for a junior suite then you are entitled to the green bands which allows you to use the VIP Lounge, where you can get branded drinks, snacks and even have breakfast. They ar building a new VIP Restaurant which should be open in August.
We had a fabulous time, the hotel was lovely, the staff were brilliant and I could not have asked for better.
I am sure you will enjoy it.
Thank you....I will sleep better now.....
We did not booked a Junior Suite, so much expensiver (when you booked in the Netherlands).
In the Netherlands we have sites like this and a lot of people are talking about the rooms, Yes they are clean, but looked a little old?!!??
I think a lot of people don't understand that they are not in the Netherlands!!! This will be are 6 visit too Egypt, always nice people good food and a lot of SUN!!!
Greetings Helmy,
The Netherlands
