My wife and I are looking at the possibility of a 10 day break mid June to the Koh's (Phangnan, Tao etc.). I would appreciate advise on what the weather would be like...will we have sunshine and days at the beach with the only odd shower or are we running the risk of having to stay indoors the majority of the time.

Secondly, what would the backpacker/traveller scene be like during this period as we will doing a backpacker trip.

Thirdly, would bars, restaurants be open in these areas in June.
