Stayed in the Duva in July 2006. A little bit out of the resort. About 20-25 minutes walk down to the main square/pine walk. We had hired a car so didn't find the distance a problem.
We stayed self catering so didn't use the restaurant. We did use the snack bar once and found it good value, with large portions. Drinks were normal prices for hotels.
The apartment we stayed in overlooked the main pool. One bedroom - lovely size room, kids slept in lounge on sofa beds. Small kitchen - but who wants to cook on holiday!!. Bathroom was great size. Balcony very safe - no problem letting our 4 year old on it. Cleaned 6 times a week - if you want clean towels just leave the dirty ones on the floor. Maids folded kids PJ's, tided up their toys. They were great when we got a few ants - came straight away.
Gardens were beautiful - lillipag pond with loads of fish, ducklings etc..
Park was a disappointment but kids didn't really want to use it - they were happy in pool.
Main pool area has a small paddling pool for toddlers. Large pool is a little too deep and we found that the little ones couldn't stand up even in the shallow area. Indoor pool, gym, etc... was fantastic - we even so Barry McGuigan in there.
Evening entertainment was OK - usual cheesy stuff. Our kids loved it (10 & 4) and if their happy then so are we!!
All in all a really nice holiday - even if it was a good walk from beach/restaurants
