Hi, I hope you manage to sort your photos out with the hotel photographer. Have you tried the CD in another computer? Just tha sometimes a CD drive can be a little temperamental at times with some disks. Worth a try. Let us all know how you got on.
cheers
we have now received areplacement cd but unfortunately only 5 photos on it not the 40 we paid for .I did give all the reference numbers to the manager.Iam unsure what to do next.any advice thanks sue

i'm so jealous all this talk of holidays and i'm not going till sept!! i'm sure you"ll have a good time at club candan we went last sept and had fab time!!
Usually go to cannaries but looking at these apartments for a change. Can anyone tell me what the area around them and the resort is like regarding hilliness( or flatness-depending how you look at it )as we have walking problems. Also are taxies fairly cheap?
Any info appreciated
Thanks
From what I understand the resort is failrly flat, however the backdrop to Marmaris is mainly mountainous. This hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the beach and the sea front, although the weekly market is very close to the hotel.I will be able to give you a full run down after we return in July. As far as taxi fares go, Turkey is alot cheaper than the Canaries so I would imagine Taxi prices are as well.
Have a great time and look forward to any comments on your return
There are taxis waiting right outside the hotel. All prices stated on board.
25 ytl to Icmeler ( £10 )
7ytl to marina (£2.80)
The area around is flat and yes around 10 mins walk to the main road. but plenty of bars, restaurants, and shops along the way. Our favourite was Janas.
If i can help with any info at all just ask
anybody leaving thusday for the candan, wont arrive until late evening due to the coach transfer and time difference, but who cares it whats holiday is all about...
just get me ready a nice frosted glassed decent beer...see you there
Yep we go thursday too, last few bits to get, packed most of the cases now but like you said with a family (5) in our case new clothes etc etc etc. We get there about mid afternoon as early morning flight from East Midlands!!
Does anyone know if the club candan has a website or e mail address
Our major gripe of the hotel was the cleaning or lack of. The maids who came round to the rooms each day, well, my not have bothered for what they actually did. Dont expect to get your towels changed or bed linene changed. We tried to leave hints by leaving the towels in a heap by the door to no avail. Also on at least two or three occasions the cleaner emptied the mop bucket in our kitchen sink (after mopping several other rooms) and didnt even bother to clean the sink out. This really annoyed us.
We had a two bedroom apartment over looking the pool and space was not a problem. There were plenty of wardrobe space for all of our clothes (6 of us) although my husband didnt unpack at all. Each bedroom had air conditioning however the main room didnt. There were two bathrooms one in the bedroom with the double bed and the other adjacent to the kitchen area. To say that the room is for upto six persons there were not enough crockery and cutlery for all, which was a bit of a pain when we wanted to eat as we had to do it in shifts.
At night in the hotel there is entertainment usully until about 12 ish but we didnt find noise a problem at all with the young children. As other people have mentioned the Mosque is situated very close to the hotel and can be heard at 4:50am however you soon get used to it and lasts about 5 mins.
All in all a good friendly hotel, and Marmaris itself is great. The best restaurant we found was near to the hotel and called Janas. Our kids ate there for free whenever we went in and we could always wangle a few few drinks or puddings out of them. Theye were great with the kids and kept my kids supplied in lollipops!
A word of warning though! We hired a car and as you may know or will soon know that the Turks are quite possibly the craziest drivers so you will need your wits about you. A bus hit our hire car and damaged the front end. For insurance you need a police report which took us all day to get after many arguments with 'europcar' and the local Jandarma (Police) So beware if you do.
All in all though we would defenately recommend the Club Jandan!!!
Glad you had a good time but it sounds like the cleaners need a bit of a push from the managers.
We to have booked a two bed apartment. Are they all located together and with two bathrooms?
Not going till next year but excited already
If anyone has stayed at this hotel and not yet submitted their review to our review site, please do so by
The two bedrooms apartments are on the corners of the hotel on each floor. They are really big!
There are two bathrooms - one in the main (double bedroom) which is like an en-suite but has bath with shower over, toilet and wash basin. So you dont have to walk out of bathroom to the bedroom it is all in one, like a suite really.VERY NICE if staying with other quests.
The second bathroom is just to the right of the twin bedroom(two single beds) This has a large shower cubicle with again toilet and wash basin.
If you have booked for this hotel you will not be dissapointed it's very good, just take some cleaner just in case you get our maid. Spoke to other poeple in the hotel and they said there cleaning was fine. So keep your fingers crossed.
The pool area is kept very clean and the staff work very hard. No glasses around the pool e.t.c I heard them telling somebody off one day!!
Which i thought good on you because it is quite slippy around the pool so if travelling with children due take care. My youngest son found out the hard way.
JANAS is a resturant about five minutes walk from the hotel, i cannot praise them enough, very impressed! Good Food, Good service and they will really look after you. My children loved all the staff in here and not to far home at the end of the night either.
Thanks stolly!
Has anyone managed to find a phone number or email for these apartments yet?
