Hi everyone, off to Magaluff in 5 weeks

, and plan to take the bulk of my money in Travellers Cheques. Last year I went to Tenerife, and Travellers Cheques were a big debate in the Tenerife Forums at the time.
In the UK, they will all try and sell you Euro Cheques, comission free. they also tell you that you will get face value in resort, but in reality, in Tenerife you get charged comission, sometimes up to 10%!
So the best thing to do (as I did last year) was to buy Sterling Cheques here and pay 1% comission. but over there they changed them comission free at a good rate, better than you can get here. So it worked out better to take Sterling Travellers Cheques...
Just wondering if the same applies for Majorca?
Hope I haven't waffled too much! Thanks in advance
Andy
