We have just returned from Royal Belvedere and asked about the weather at that time of year. We were told it was around the start of the rainy season.

Are you aware of the location which is up a steep hill about 800 mts from the beach/main road.

we were in crete mid 2 weeks oct last year ..had 2 days wet the rest wall to wall sun picked up a nice tan without trying, bit chilly in the evening though,this was our second oct holiday in crete the other was the first week 2004 that was a week of sun no rain

oh and lots of mozzies that time of year

We were there October half term week last year and we had heavy rain for the first two days but wall to wall sunshine after that.

We are going the same time this year so fingers crossed.
