Sagres will be the one to give you recommendations for good bars in Lagos.
I'm sure he's been in every one there....

Watch out for him when you're there as he will be there roughly at the same time and he'll be looking for a pint from you for his advice

To be perfectly honest, neither Lagos nor Luz feature in the list of the World's best stag-do venues, but if you can give some idea of the age range of your group and how manic your ideas of a 'party' are, I'll do my best to point you in the right direction.Perhaps you can say how many will be in your group, as a lot of the bars in town are really small and wouldn't be suitable for a large group of people( or a group of large people for that matter!! )
Just a note of caution:I take it that either you'll be using taxis to return to your villa at night or you've a non-drinking driver in your group because the Portuguese police are in the middle of a major crackdown on drink-driving at the moment and there's no late night public transport between Lagos and Luz.

Its a fairly tame stag doo compared to our previous ones, more focused on the surfing and mountainbiking during day and good crack and a good drink on the night. There are 6 of us, all enjoy a really good drink and always up for a laugh. Ages from 30 - 40. The thirtysomethings I guess, mature daft lads!

Managed to get booked with extremealgarve kayaking and surfing - sounds cool. Sebastian gave me some ideas for bars also;

This town starts to rock at about 10-11 oclock.
Eddies bar, Redeye, 3 monkeys,
Nahnah bar, Bon vivant,
Inside out, Whytes: famous for the 7 deadly sins cocktails.
South bar, Joes garage, Lounge, Grand cafe

Hi tony,
Sebastian clearly knows his stuff !! The only additions I would suggest to that list are Kuinn's and Zanzibar,both of which you'll find very close to Bon Vivant.
