Hi Cazz
My hubby is the exact opposite, he never looks at prices. If that's what he
wants then thats what he orders regardless
Helenxx
We save up hard all year, so when we go we dont really bother about the prices It amazes me, just how many people book to go to cyprus then start having a moan about the costs while over though..... book somewherre else then!
We go to Cyprus because Its such a beautiful Island, with lovely people.
...... Stuff how much we spend when we are over there...... we want to have a good time!
fair point, but my view would be: £20 buys 10 pints at £2, or 13 at £1.50. More beer!! (and bus fare home!)
If you can remember where home is at that point
Cant recall anyone moaning about prices though I was just curious as i havent been to Cyprus since the kids were born.
But i do agree a mans 2 questions about a holiday will be where are we going? How much is the beer?
Neil
Just returned from 2 weeks in Pernera where we paid £1 50 Cyp for a beer, the exception was in Benigans where it was £1 20 during the day for a pint of Carlsberg. Very nice!!!

What kind of beer is leon? It has been 4-5years since i was last under the influence of keo and loved every minute!!! local beers tend to be a bit rough but certainly not in this case.
2 weeks to go and counting!!!!
Neil
Don't ask Jim, he'll just say it's gnats p**s!
Neil it's a rather unusual Larger...euro fizzzz Mark buys it...
2 weeks today and i will be finding out! 3 weeks tomorrow and i will be married in Limassol.
2 weeks today I will be there too!!!!!!!!!!
Mark also had a case of it as a Christmas present and polished the lot off all by himself!Jim wrote:Mark buys it...
Whilst in Blighty, as Jim knows, I normally drink "proper" beer. Leon is my tipple of choice in Cyprus, where available.

I paid 1.50cyp for a large bottle of Keo at Currium beech last week. (all 3 bars had the same price)
Hi
Hi Wendy
My parents are going to Cyprus in a week staying at the sunrise beach in protaras. They are on a B&B basis and are worried that they will not be taking enough money as the rate is around 0.81 as apposed to most other currencies being 1.(point) something. For instance if they were to buy two brandys and it came to 8CYP thats around £10 (expensive for two brandys) so whats the average price of food and drink any one have any ideas? i think they are taking about £1800 GBP pounds for 2 weeks, will this be enough?
I stayed in Cyprus last year but was all inclusive so cant really help them!
Thankyou
Amy
hi amy..were going for 2 weeks and theres 2 of us..we take about £1,200 with us and were self catering..its always been enough for us especially as i like shopping..they should have enough
