I was having a bit of a clear out last night (we just got a new sideboard so was sorting out the drawers) and I found a recipt for drinks at The Andreotis Apartments. Pint of Carlsberg £1.50cy Just for all those lucky people going this year  Have one for me.

I'll be on the plane heading over there this time in 12 days but i'll stick to the Keo. :D

Don't worry Bluemax i'll leave a couple of pints for you to have. :D

The worrying thing is with you there as well will they have run out before I leave on the 25th.

Mmm, thats a good point, there's four of us and with the world cup on as well......

This could be a problem. I may need to fill my apartment with bottles of Keo before you arrive so that i'm stocked up just in case.

cyprus, keo and hopefully the world cup (fly out on 25th june) all at same time absolute bliss.out there for final if we win there won't be enough beer on the island to keep us celebrating. keep the beer cold and the football hot
Reply
Oh no, looks like there could be a shortage of Keo

It's a good job i'll be there earlier than you lot. I would hate to have to go onto the Leon. :D

Ill have one for you tonight but not a Keo ...Carslberg or Amstel, now available in Pafos at last, better taste than either Keo or Carlsberg...in my opinion..very warm again today, looks like summer is well here.
Reply
Jim - is the Amstel on draught now then? We were buying it in cans at the supermarket last year.

cant wait to try the keo.......21 days and Im with you cyprus. Might stay if england top the group and make the semi final they play on 5th July at same time Im supposed to fly back to blighty !!!!!!!!

NEVER I SAY NEVER will I miss that.......... ne1 got a tent ?

Keo wins hands down in my opinion

I have not found Amstel on draught as yet, but then again I have not been looking, I don't go into town at nights that often, but I have been told that many more brews are now arriving, maybe give Sodap (Keo) a kick up the backside to improve there product, it is not how it tasted twenty years ago, Carlsberg outsells Keo 3 to 1 now, if you get to 'Monroe's in Kato Paphos they brew there own beer, they tell me it is ok!! will give it a try sometime..

p.s it is 6.30am here 4.30am UK time and it is 78f outside!

ive always found keo tastes better out of the large bottles than it does in the smaller bottles or on draught , i remember reading on the label it was un pasturised this might make the difference in taste
Reply
Yes it does indeed say that, but then again most bottle drinking fluids are heated before being bottled, as milk is for instance..many of us who have little choice of beer here have gone over to Carlsberg, but I will drink Keo if bought for me.. :D no problem with it then!!

i would find it hard to order carlsberg down to the fact the name is splashed across a certain football teams shirt ,
