But be warned, I was over in March and the bill hadn't been paid since November, ( the tenant I had left without paying!)so I'd been cut off( bills come either monthly or bi-monthly).
I had to go to the main electricity place(Tedas) and get my bill updated including a fine for late payment. The easier way is to make arrangements with your bank( Turkish) to pay by direct debit.
Hope this helps

electricity bills come every 2 months, there are 3 tariffs, cheaprate is at night. The electricity is not as cheap as everyone thinks as most of your usage is at the higher rate. I will try to find out exact unit costs and times.
DD is the best way to pay

Great, thanks for that. i think that's the best way, to set up a direct debit.
Someone told me last year when i was over, that if i go to Tedas when im leaving they will disconnect my electricity for me and then reconnect when i return,is this true??
