Is anybody else experiencing problems again with HT.?
For the last few days the system has been stuttering ....pages have taken ages to load/open at certain times and this afternoon it is snail speed for me.

Yep...... pages are a bit slow to load.
I've just replied to a posting in the Costa Blanca forum and it took over five minutes after clicking on submit before my message was entered. I then tried to enter this forum and I had an equally long delay before the forum was accessed. Things just seem very slow.......anyone else having any problems with HT?
I'm also logged into another Forum at the moment....not HT, and they use the same Host? and I am not having any problems in that Forum
your lucky its locked up on me 3 times in less than an hour

How do you mean that they use the same host

phpBB?
What I am trying to say is, the style of board and layout etc is exactkey the same as HT. You submit posts and can edit posts etc etc in the same way as you can on HT. Emoticons etc. on the left hand side as they are on HT......the message body options are all the same.....am I making any sense?
Well thats what I meant. I'm sorry but I don't know the difference from a server, a host or a toaster!!! Remember Mark, I am pretty useless with PC's and technology.
Sorry if I used the wrong word Mark, I mean one of the other forums I belong to seems to be similar in style to this one. Having loads of problems today I have to log in each time I use the site then when I want to post a reply I am asked to log in again. Then when I wanted to read a resort report the following message came up ' the info on this site is copywright of Holiday-Truth' I clicked on ok but when I tried to access one of the reports the message came up again and I couldn't get any further. Any ideas ?
edit...but I've just seen the notice about security upgrade so that's probably what it is
However I did a search yesterday but forgot to click the "display as posts" box instead of "topics" so I re-did it....
....and a screen came up and told me "you are not allowed to make another search so soon after just doing one" or something to that effect....
well.....now I'm being told off by a computer
The note says the upgrade will be Sunday the 22nd !
....and a screen came up and told me "you are not allowed to make another search so soon after just doing one" or something to that effect....
That is the newly implemented search flood function... it stops a certain malicious attack against the server.

Were you right clicking instead of left?
The message you mention is a copyright notice when someone attempts to copy the content of the site using the right mouse key.

Thanks
Glad it's not just me getting told off
