We have reviews of this hotel:- We've stayed in Lanzarote over Christmas but not at these apartments. We had a brilliant time.
Heading to Costa Teguise on monday the 20th staying at the puerto tahiche apartments. Can anyone recommend any good restaurants that would be children friendly but still do a nice meal. Hoping to get a game of golf as well anyone played the course? Many thanks
have a great time
most places to eat are child freindly, the grill bar on the main street are worth a visit (under the sports bar)as are any in the bay area near the beach)
hope this helps

There is a pizza place on the main 'high' street that does banana pizzas!!!
Around the promenade there are some nice 'english' pubs too.
does anyone have an email address for the Puerto Tahiche in Costa Teguise please? I can't find one anywhere.
All contributions gratefully received

At least there is the telephone number for the apartments, and the name of the reservations manager if you don't get a reply to your email Glad I was able to help
the only watersports allowed on las cucharas beach are windsurfing and kyaking? not sure i've spelt that right! but it's still a nice beach,if you fancy the jetski/banana boat you can get the bus down to the beach at peurto del carmen, about half an hour away, they have lots of water stuff there, pedaloes etc. enjoy your hol x
well. both my emails bounced back, so I guess I will have to call them.
Please feel free to PM me if it is a personal matter that you need resolved, rather than a general enquiry that would benefit the board, if you see what I mean
WE HAVE JUST BOOKED TWO APARTMENTS FOR TWO WEEKS FOR A FAMILY OF 5 AND I HAVE READ SOME HORRENDOES REVIEWS ON VARIOUS SITES FROM AS RECENT AS THE BEGINNING OF JUNE THIS YEAR. CAN ANYBODY PUT MY MIND AT REST AND LET ME KNOW THE REAL STORY. THANKYOU
i would not worry to much about the reports . most like someone who didn't enjoy their holiday and bumping off about it, we had the same last year and were almost at the point of cancelling our holiday because of it, but we went and had the best holiday we have had so far, in fact we enjoyed costa teguise so much we are going back there on the 5th of july for 2 weeks,,, so take all bad reports with a pinch of salt and enjoy, pet,

We went to this hotel last summer and found it to be lovely. The rooms were clean, maid lovely, pools clean. We went self-catering so ate out in the lovely restaurants most nights.
You can up-grade to half-board if you like. You can do it day by day too which was great.
Found that there wasn't enough sun beds as guests were queueing up from about 8am waiting for them to be unchained.
Found it a bit too windy down at the beach. We walked right along the beach towards the other end and it was not so busy and a bit sheltered.
There is another cove where you can feed the fish which my kids loved, take stale bread into the water and they come and feed.
Hope this helps.

P.S. don't forget to try the Honey Rum.
We are going at end september into october. Is the upgrade to half board good value or is it better choice to eat out. We have read so much about CT on here and the Puerto Tahiche that we are looking forward to going out.
how did you get on carol41???
