You'll be spoilt for choice......there are so many that the best way is to try them out.
Beef O'Brady's
Denny's
Ponderosa Steak House
Shoney's
Perkins
sizzler
Sweet tomatoes
Olive Graden
The Melting Pot
Golden Corral
Outback Steakhouse
A lot of people don't realize this but there are actually several Outback Steakhouses in the UK. I believe they are mostly in the London area. The menu is a little different but a lot of items are the same.
Denny's ..... bril for breakfast....I had just scrambled eggs & toast.....and plenty of coffee!........and sat back and watched everybody else tuck into their "mountains"!!
Just wondering if anybody could recommend any good restaurants in the Hollywood area? Ideally not too expensive, but where the food is good.
Fredericton, Canada. The live band and fresh tuna salad are great!
Try the crab house on i-drive. Every kind of crab available as well as ribs steaks pasta etc.
We tried Golden Coral and Ponderosa in Florida. Under $40 for a meal for 4 with 3 courses and as much as you can eat and drinks. It was fab.
We are off to Naples on the Gulf Coast for our next hol's.
Ponderosa stake house is the best! I SOOOO love the every sizzling treat!
tony romas on i-drive is a great restaurant but gets very busy, get there early. also if you like italian food try the olive tree, there are several around with one or two also on i-drive
We are off to Naples on the Gulf Coast next year. Can anyone recommend any decent restaurants
Just got back from Orlando and must recommend a restaurant called Roy's (just off J74a on I4 - Google for directions). The cuisine is called 'Hawaiian Fusion' and its mainly fish, but its probably one of the best meals I've had. The Prix Fixe 3 course meal for $35 was a steal. With drinks and tip the total for a family of 4 came to $200.
We are going to Orlando for Xmas and would like opinions on the cost of eating out. As we have 2 kids with us it can get quite expensive and we would like to work out some sort of budget. Thanks, Alan & Co.
Im staying at the Belvedere Hotel from the 29th of October till the 2nd November. Can any one suggest GOOD and NICE eating places.
Maybe Chinese one night, I also like steaks, Italian food. But if peole think steak places are better than italina then thats fine. I just thought it would be nice to go with a list of eating places near to the hotel or within a half hour walking distance.
Thanks

As far as New York goes, you can eat as cheaply or as expensively as you like. We tend to favour the bar/restaurant set up, just because of the casual atmosphere, plus we find the food never disappoints and we don't have to really dress up. We found Mudville 9 on Chambers St. Tribeca near the cross with W. Broadway quickly became our favourite. Ribs and wings to die for and great wait staff, a really friendly place to while away an evening. There's a site called Menupages where you can get information and reviews for a heck of a lot of NYC eating places for all budgets. You can click on the different districts and see what's where, how they're rated and if the restaurant has a website where you can look at sample menus and prices. I'm staying East Village next visit so I'll be trawling around menupages again before long.
Best Restaurant in Orlando............... Without a doubt ........ Texas De Brazil.Fantastic!!!!! Not your normal Orlando touristy diner, Its a little more expensive than most but hey your on holiday. And the exchange rate is good at the moment.
We also like the Olive Garden, and Charlies it does the best steak, they bring a selection to your
table to pick from although tends to be a little more expensive.
The Outback is also another one we like.
The girls like the Rainforest Cafe in Animal Kindom.

Just back from two weeks in sunny Florida and found two new eateries. (For those of you who may recognise my tag, we didn't go to Savannah or Charleston in the end. Saving that for another time). First one is a breakfast/lunch restaurant called FirstWatch. Because we stayed with friends we were off the tourist track but I think they have outlets more central. Check them out at firstwatch.com. Their pancakes are to die for! Second place was an evening eatery called Sweet Tomatoes (Souplantation in California). An extremely pleasant change from the usual steaks, hamburgers and hotdogs, etc. An eat-all-you-can, you can chose from salads, soups, pastas, fancy breads, followed by ice cream, fresh fruit, jelly, cakes, etc. Again, look it up on sweettomatoes.com. Well worth a visit!
