MIKE
I'm starving after reading this Mike
Hotel Venite in Panjim has great atmosphere, especially if you get a street balcony table, but very mediocre food when we had lunch there last year.
A favourite with the locals and always busy, the fish platter is excellent, and huge big enough for two.
I haven't tried it, but a Goan friend says the Fish Curry and rice is the best.
x lassi
Thanks for that Dave and Lassi.

Yes i have been to P O S H and the food is superb, staff very good and the setting is fantastic, it's a really enjoyable night and we know Leo the owner and all the staff because we live next door, you will have to let us know when you plan to go and maybe we could meet up, we shall probably see you at one of the meets or maybe i will, the Mrs is not over keen on the meets but she loves P O S H do you know what it stands for ?. Have you been to it's sister restaurant After Seven? we went there for the opening night on Wednesday and they have changed the menu slightly but it was as good as ever.
I could not agree more about Venita, fantastic place, you would not look twice from outside but it is lovely and the food is very good.
Mike
