Kebabs and Curries- must admit I've thought of that one.
For Indian food - Kebabs & Curries is an excellent choice.
It's up a quiet lane - away from the traffic.
You have the choice of eating inside, or outside in a quiet little garden - it's delightful.

2600rps I didn't see that, I don't know how they can justify that when the fillet steak was 320rps I know the wine was expensive in there as it was imported.
After 7 did my wedding anniversary - we booked in adavance, they did lovely silver and gold balloons for the chairs and a nice cake. My OH and i enjoyed ourselves. For a change, we tried out Au Reverie, nice setting, well presented food but expensive. Looking at feedback here, went to Chef Soumnyen's - food ok, but OH found the ambience lacking.

"Kebabs and curries" - where is this please
Just past Daytrippers. Fiona we went to All Spice where I ordered my favourite dish from KnC, there was absolutely no comparison at all. Kebabs and Curries are just perfect in my opinion. Also i was ill all the next day but that seemed to be caused by an intolerance to Indian cream.
Kalinga? I can't remember seeing that one recommended before. At least time out there will be a good choice as most had not opened when we were out before. I've a whole 8 nights to sort out this time
Inferno - Excellent and lots of choice
Baga
Lazydays - Best breakfast
Tribes
O'Pescador
Calangute
Over the Flames
Scirroco Bar
Kalingas - great food, fantastic service and reasonable price. It's in Candolim nearly opposite the Stonehouse and opposite a great jewellers called "Master Jeweller"!
We stayed in Baga and the best restaurant was definitely east meets west, the food there was delicious and the staff were really friendly, even gave us free drinks before we left We went to 2 other restaurants on the road in Baga leading down to the beach, one was Equinox, the other i cant remember, but on the same side of the road a few shops down, both were really nice and would recommend. The only mediocre one was the Electric Cat, some of their food was nice and the staff really friendly but a couple of my friends ordered food that turned out to be completely different to what the menu said! Overall everywhere we went in Baga to eat was probably the best food any of us have ever had on holiday
Vodkasundae is Kalingas where Tosigos used to be
I think the sign may well have said Toshigos (sorry for the spelling) then in large letters "Kalingas". It's up on a higher level than the road (which means it's nice for watching the world go by) and there is a small indoors area too.
hi there we travel on tuesday staying at the md. can anyone tell me good places to eat .

Yes that's the one they used to do a great carpetbagger steak, will have to give it a go this time.

We stayed at the MD in Jan and loved Alfresco it is opposite All Spice (which we were disappointed in). They do lovely home cooked food and it is owned by a brilliant Goan guy Vino, who manages the Apora football team. We even went to a cup final to watch them play in Candolim, give it a go you won't be disappointed.

What type of stuff do they serve please don't say french
French - very similar to Le Restaurant Francais; perhaps less fussy.
