If Flyods hut is opposite Guru jewellers (is it the one with the green lights around it ) it may be were we ate several times when in Candolim, the kids said it was the best butter chicken of the holiday and we had garlic King Fish :tup . I personally wouldn't bother with I 95 I thought it was overpriced (and almost empty) for what you got. I loved Alfresco, the staff and the food were great and they had a nice Rose wine, oh I wish I was going back soon :cry

Thanks for the replies, thats brilliant.
Roma thats a pity about Bhatti Village Restaurant/Bar cos its one ive been wanting to try for sometime, but I dont want to go away out there if its closed :think I might ask Mike (Richardson) cos he lives out that way and he might know.
OAP and Debi I think the Floyds ive been in before was Floyds Hut and I liked it as well so might go back there. Cos I wasnt in one as far along as Sinquerim. Le Jardin and Au Reverie both get good reports as well, so will keep them mind.
Thanks again :tup
Any other comments most welcome!!!

Yes Kebabs and Curries is near Daytrippers, my favourite restaurant and always delightful food.

Thanks Jetti. Is it just your "normal" Goan prices or is it expensive?
Apart from the obvious Kebabs and Curries ;) do they have a full range of food and do they have veggie food?

3 courses with drinks and coffee afterwards about 1100 for 2 of us but it is well worth it and they do have a very good veggie selection, toilets are spotless and service is superb.

As it says on the tin - they mostly do kebabs & curries, some of which are vegetarian.
However, they do have some unusual variations on the theme. :cheers

What they definitely don't have have - is one of those awful menus, with page after page of different cuisines. :tup

When we were there at Xmas we found a Thai Restaurant which is in the Hotel Mira in Calangute opposite the S'ila Goa Resort. Although it is situated in the Hotel Mira it is not run by the hotel. If you fancy a change from Indian curry go to this restaurant the food and serviice are excellent Although you're in Goa it is nice for a change from Indian curry sometimes.

Noggin do you mean Tiger Trail Chinese, if so last year it was on the left hand side by the entrance to the Regal apartments at the top of the main beach road in Candolim, we had a lovely meal there last year, but when we went back the following week it was closed due to end of season.

Hi Gemma
Sorry for the typing, but verra happy with some honeybee. Bhattis village bar was closed when I wanted to try it. I then had the barbecue lunch at POSH and enjoyed it, and was great fun on a sunday under the trees and loads of fine G&T's , ha ha! Had some loverly chicken tikka makhani and some Chicken bbq
Would not personally go to I95, very empty when we went and I thouht verra overpriced, but I liked Viva Goa and i notice you also liek After 7, like me.
Cheers

Hi David thanks for the reply. Thats a shame about Bhatti Village Bar cos youre the 2nd HTer that said it was closed.
I liked Posh as well. We went for breakfast. Very nicely presented and the restaurant is in a nice setting, so peaceful and quiet. I had fantastic pancakes and maple syrup, brill! Never been to Posh for lunch tho, so thats another idea, thanks.
Ive been to I-95 and I did like it but there are so many places to try isnt there?
I think ive been in Viva Goa :think but cant remember. Is it in Calangute on a corner (or maybe I am thinking of somewhere different).
Have you tried Souymans kitchen in Calangute? Its fantastic.
PS. Enjoy your honeybee :cheers might have one myself later :D

Bhattis Bar is closed, apparantely the owner has done his back in and is out of action - this is not permanent(hopefully) - for his sake.
I'm sure it'll re-open when he recovers.

Had a wonderful experience at I 95 this visit to Goa.Definetely one of the best new
restaurants in Goa.A bit pricey but considering the quality of food well worth it.
Was quite busy on the night we went in.
Would recommend it to anyone who appreciates good food.

The Bistro is situated in the grounds of the Sunset Beach Hotel, opposite the Whispering Palms in Candolim.
