Phyll, First Choice still have it listed as the Royal Azure hence my confusion when you asked for it to be added.

Yes i know Glynis, but i assure you they are the same hotel , ridiculous !
The sister hotel is the Tropicana, even back in the spring when i foned first choice to clarify this, even they could not give me a definitive answer.

I believe that E Mail address is for their Head Office. I did send an E Mail to that address requesting the address for the Royal Azure, but as of yet, have had no reply ..... perhaps I will try again.

Just to add to the confusion, Thomas Cook now have the Royal Azure Listed on their 2011 web site, but they have it listed as the Royal Grand Azure. I tried to get a price for next year from their site, to no avail! I then tried phoning the shop, and they couldn't even get it up on their system, and told me to phone back end of Oct when their 2nd brochure would be released ...... the mind boggles!!

I absolutely assure you they are the same hotel, i have seen the large name outside the hotel, its so frustrating when even the TO cant give a proper answer.
I was also told that the TGA was the same as the one i went to !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but it really isnt.
Yeah take a holiday Glynis, but maybe another hotel

Can you tell me if there's a jacuzzi at the royal grand azure. Other sites say the spa, jacuzzi, etc was meant to open in 'summer 2010' but I cant find anything anywhere to say if that actually happened yet.

I've just received an E Mail from the hotel enclosing a copy of the layout of the hotel. According to the facilities listed there is a sauna and waterjet pool. I assume the waterjet pool would be the jacuzzi.

hi been to this hotel in april and there is a waterjet in the main pool and the sauna is a little shed not far from the swim up bar. hope this helps

Hi there, the hotel is very good if you dont mind a large complex.
Avoid the main restaurant cos it is dreadful ! but if you are going with Thomson/first choice you will be fine as they have their own restaurant for breakfast and lunch and it is excellent. In the evenings there are 4 A La Carte ones which you are only meant to use once per stay but i used them every night in rotation and was never questioned
The place is kept exceedingly clean and there are loads of pools to choose from.
I am sure the beach is nice but it was so windy when i was there that the sea was black flagged everyday so i didnt bother going down.
You may be lucky and find the Hard Rock Cafe is open when you go out, the food is great.
