hello all it's my first post, very glad I found this site.

Well I'm a 43 year old total newbie, this will be our first package holiday as we have always taken backpacker, rough and ready holidays.

We have a 2 year old now and wanted to put our feet up and relax whilst watching her enjoy herself with some other kids in the sun.

I have spent a few weeks checking the Internet and reading reviews on this site and tripadvisor, we have come up with this choice.

We haven't decided on half board or all inclusive yet, my wife would only drink a glass of wine a night (if that) whilst i would happy glug a bottle or so, it doesn't sound like it would be good value to us, considering the £300 price difference between allinc and half board for 7 days.

How much should we expect to pay for a glass of local red and how much for a bottle of local red in the hotel/restaurant ?

Also we would like to take the odd day trip to somewhere like Ciutadella, is it worth while hiring a car (and what price would we expect to pay) or are there good buses/coaches ?
