You have booked an apartment and a twin room for your party. Only the apartment will have kitchen facilities. If you need kitchen facilities in both, then you need to book 2 apartments.
When are you going to the Safari Park, we are going there in a couple of weeks time.

Hi Suzanne. We go in October (half term). I stayed at the Safari about 6 years ago and really enjoyed it but I would imagine Sa Coma has become a lot more 'built up' since then. Have you been before? Gail

Hi Gail,
We fly out on the 23rd May and are staying for 2 weeks. We stayed in Sa Coma last year at the Palmeras Playa and really loved the resort. We have seen the Safari Park from the outside and decided that we would like to go there this year. Behind the Safari there is a fabulous children's playpark called Paradis Park and if you have children, they will love it. Only Protur guests can use it.
I would imagine that Sa Coma itself will be about the same as when you went before, maybe slightly more built up, but not much.

 :wave :fly :ghug

Hi Suzanne. Me and my friend are taking her 3 girls ages 15, 12 and 9 and my boy age 10. I think we are going to book the Safari (which will be a twin room for me and a 1 bed apt for my friend). Hope the twin room will be spacious with balcony and fridge (not bothered about cooking facilities). Can't wait to get back to Sa Coma (I love the resort but my hubby not too keen). We are going to Parga in August so the wait for Sa Coma is not too bad. Have a good holiday.

i stayed at the sa coma platja apartments. Before i went i was a bit unsure of what to expect as they were self-catering apartments, but when i got there i was highly impressed with them! the view from our room was fantastic, it was a very clean hotel, with entertainment most nights-mainly for kids-but I went with just a friend of mine-im 19, she's 18 and we found enough bars around to keep us entertained for the evening. the pool is lovely, and you only literally have to step outside the hotel gate and you're on the beach! plus, with fantastic weather, what more can you ask for! :D

The kids ( 7 and 3) enh\joyed the park and you'll have it on the door step!
Really cheap to eat out, so the cooking facilities wont be needed! Only used our the once in 2 weeks!

hi, can i jump in to the conversation please? :D

i heard that the kids entertainment at the safari was no longer being run by the hotel but would be done by thomson reps which would therefore make it open only to people who have booked through thomson.
could anyone confirm or deny this?

i stayed in sa coma 2 years ago and also wondered if it had changed any?
hotel prices in the town seem to be considerably cheaper than in other resorts.
i know there used to be the odd bit of bother with local kids. again, if anyone could confirm or deny this i would be most grateful. cheers. :pele

Hi. I noticed that you mentioned 'the odd bit of bother with local kids'. Can I ask what sort of bother.
I thought Sa Coma was quiet and family orientated (except the Britannia and Kings Head!!). It was very quiet when I was there about 6 years ago. Hope its not changed too much.

I think it is more likely to be 8.30 or 9 -- If you get withdrawal symptoms there is a big new supermarket that stocks all british brands opened right opposite Caprabo Hyper -- http://www.a2zmallorca.com/detail/2605.htm

I'd say the park part is suitable for 3yrs to about 10 ish.(maybe a bit older) Tranpolines, small water slide and pool, fort climbing thing.
Both my 3 and 7 yr old loved it.

As for kids clubs at the Floriana we had both Thomson and Animation clubs. Our oldest could have gone to both! I wish!
Little one wanted to go to the Animation Team club but need to be 4!

We went on a Sat and was busy around the front with locals but seemed very nice, but did seem to be alot of Brit pubs, saw 4 in a row near the main road.

Our room had microwave, toaster, hob and fridge and 4 of everything.
Even came with a corkscrew
